I used to enjoy my small four cylinder vehicle but I had to upgrade cause of slow folks who enjoy pissing people off by driving below speed limit and then speed up when you try to pass them not to let you in. That goes for folks who enter highway at 40mph as well.
-
You are just adding factors to the scenario to justify the tailgating the scenario I presented didn’t have a pile of traffic that contained an ambulance with someone taking their last breath either

LOL Even the Mocks hate the Hornets

While we're at it, hopefully this is the year Morrisson and Kidd-Gilchrist finally pan out. -
What does this have to do with Vegas?
-
Are you in the left lane with cars piling up behind you? If yes, you're lollygagging. If it's an individual aggressive driver and you're actively passing while in the left lane then yes, that driver is being the asshole. Just use the left lane for passing the right lane for riding. It's really a pretty simple social contract. And intentionally hanging out or slowing down on the left lane just to flex your rights and show somebody who's boss makes you an asshole.
-
We definitely need someone that can contribute right away. If Bailey comes here and is all in then I'm good with it. He is probably the 3rd most talented player in the draft.
-
I'd rather have Kon. Williams can be our big. Maluach is an offensive liability and we need offense badly. Ball PG, Kon SG, Miller SF, Williams C, and Bridges can hold down PF until Salaun is ready. I'd prefer to move on from Bridges due to his off court issues, but I doubt that happens.
-
Yeah I've heard about the declined visits. Ultimately I think that's just young guys being immature but it ultimately doesn't amount to anything because odds are likely even if it isn't the Hornets he's going to a team that isn't in a great situation regardless. And at the end of the day money talks. But to be clear I'm open to different options. I just don't want another raw long term project.
-
In my original post on tailgating the scenario didn’t have a lollygagger. Just someone exceeding the speed limit and someone else driving overly aggressively
-
I'd take that bet... We pick 4th and VJ won't be available at 4 in my opinion. If he is, then we pick him.
-
It's amazing how someone can't understand that both the person lollygagging in the left lane AND the person tailgating are BOTH being assholes.
-
I guess to make it more clear, Bailey doesn’t want to play for Charlotte. He declined a pre draft visit and has a list of teams he wants to play for. Just not ideal for a young team that lacks winning culture right now. I’d prefer to trade with another team if it’s there and the compensation is right. Trying to force a young man to take millions of dollars to play for us seems like a bad idea.

Games are not rigged. Collusion between the owners is a given in my opinion. The NFL has too much to lose to rig a game and I don't see the upside. Plus, with whistlblower laws, someone would tell and likely get a significant payout for blowing the whistle (pun intended haha).
-
If they traded back it's for maluach. The interest in kon is wildly overstated. It's either Bailey or VJ at 3 or a trade back for Maluach.

Moore or you'll see Horn get "injured" and they stash him that way.

Bullying the bully is quite the piece of linguistic gymnastics how is the person who is being intimidated by an aggressive driver actually bullying them by not giving in to the intimidation? Is that what you tell your kids? Just give the bully what they want? it’s getting humorous watching the tailgaters work so hard to make others the bad guy.
-
At this point I just want someone that can bring some juice and energy. I'll take a young playmaker with an ego who can back it up production wise on the basketball court over the project player duds we've been drafting.
-
You comparing this guy to Singler and Scheyer is all I need to know about your opinion. He is the best fit for our team right now, I don't think that can be argued. Should we pick him at #4? That can be argued, as I think we could trade back a few picks to get him. With that being said, I think we trade back in the 6-8 range and pick Kon.

Just an old vet who knows the system. I haven’t noticed any love for him really.
-
I could see Renfrow beating out Moore. I really don't understand the love for Moore on this board

I was more referring to the actual following each team has. The above teams except for maybe NO have MASSIVE followings. You can go to any sports bar anywhere in the country on a Sunday and there will be all of the above teams’ jerseys represented. Yes, the Panthers occupy a large geographical area, but the number of people that actually care about the franchise or can name more than 5 prior players is still very small. South Carolina is largely Clemson/SEC country and it’s not even close. There is a Panthers contingency, but it has to compete. Like it or not, Panthers are still not all that relevant in the NFL. We’re a 30 year old team based in a transplant state that loses more often than not, has never had back to back winning seasons, no SB victories and is stuck squarely in college football country. It’s tough to grow our brand until more consistent winning goes our way. Most fans of sports teams are Luke warm bandwagoners. No one jumps on a broken down bandwagon. It’s not hopeless but until we start seeing consistent success it won’t change.

I kind of want Edgecomb to make it to 4. Bailey seems like a bit of an ego case IMO. Regardless we will draft a future MVP and trade him away. It’s tradition.
-
Fingers crossed for Ace Bailey. Him not doing any workouts could be a huge blessing in disguise for us if he falls out of the top 3. Hope the team doesn’t mess it up.
-
Pray to god we don’t take the next Jon Scheyer/Kyle Singler/etc. with the #4 overall pick. The league has plenty of mid-athlete 3pt shooters that can’t defend superior athletes, we don’t need to waste a top 5 draft pick on one.
