  1. Past hour
  2. The idea that we would eat any of his salary is absurd unless it's for a 4th
  3. Because the more you wait, the more the price goes up and it goes up fast. Ask Jerry Jones how waiting on Dak and Lamb and Parsons is working out for their salary cap. The guy basically said he has to ice down his knees after practice and quit dunking at the rec center and ya'll talk like he Hulk Hogan back from the dead for one more match. Keep ignoring the part of the same sentence where he says it's nothing that other linemen in the NFL don't deal with. Or the later article where he says, "NO KNEE PROBLEMS. THE KNEES ARE FEELING GOOD." We paid the man because he's still shown the ability to play at an elite level and the options in upcoming free agency for potential replacement. How quickly we forget the wasteland that was LT between Gross retiring and getting Icky. Byron Bell Michael Oher Mike Remmers Matt Kalil Chris Clark Dennis Daley Greg Little Russell Okung Trent Scott Michael Schofield Many times the cost of not resigning a player is more costly what you pay. We paid out the nose to have the oline be a strength of the team and because of an offhand comment you wanna open up RT to be a turn style for however long it may take to find another starter. Ya'll making Skip Bayless look like a member of Mensa.
  4. Like I just said, Thielen is much more important to the team than the 5th/6th round pick they would get in return.
  5. The Exhibit’s Josina Anderson reports the Vikings are “not likely” to trade for Panthers WR Adam Thielen “at this point.” That makes two national reporters who have pumped the brakes on a potential Thielen-Vikings reunion. Both Anderson and The Athletic’s Dianna Russini highlighted the potential deal’s financial speed bumps while also stopping short of fully ruling out the trade between the two teams at some point. If the Panthers are willing to take on some of Thielen’s contract to facilitate the trade, the Vikings might be willing to make the move.

  7. If he is the one helping Bryce read defenses, do we really want him gone when we still lost to Tampa 48-14 close to the end of the season? Do we want him gone? I'd say no.
  8. If they're advertising a 2nd, I guarantee Dan would eat a lot more than that.
  9. Literally verbatim the exact same posts when we signed cmac to a unnecessary deal. We never fuging learn, as I suspected its the same guys doing a circle jerk because he has "earned" this, so tell me how did that work out for us after the fact?
  10. They want us to eat part of his hit, it confirms that we aren't pushing for the playoffs this year. Price went up, take a 2nd, we eat $8 million of his salary.
  11. That's certainly one take of the discussion lol.
  12. I'd rather trade him once we know he's become completely redundant. It's a guess at best right now. The coaching staff can't wait for these other WRs to step up and push AT off the field.
  13. Personally I hope we hang on to Thielen. He's worth more to us than the 5th/6th round pick we'd get back.
  14. I fully expect us to only carry two QBs but I'd be fine with Perkins on the PS.
  15. The thing about Perkins is it reflects tremendously on Morgan's scouting and processes.
  16. Watch Bailey--he is playing, imo, better than Blackshear
  17. That's what I'm afraid of. Its probably what is holding up the deal.
  18. for a better draft pick I bet we have to eat his salary or a large chunk of it
  19. Well… a single first rounder for Parsons would be a no brainer
  20. Seriously. He was already under contract this year. Just let him play out the season and see how the knees hold up. I just don't understand why this organization is always so eager to make financial decisions that aren't pressing and need more evaluation.
  21. Apparently discussing a day 3 pick i don’t agree with reading Thielen considering our WR room is a massive question mark BUT we’ll save 8 million by doing so and we just decided to pay Moton so we could benefit to save some cap elsewhere. Plus we aren’t winning the SB this year
  22. I for one would LOVE IT. Renfrow comeback player of the year here we come
  23. Landing Parsons would require multiple 1st rounders. Under no circumstance should this franchise think for one second that we should trade a single 1st rounder given where we’re at right now
