  1. Past hour
  2. It does feel like positions like LB and S are where some athletic deficiencies can be masked by mental attributes like positioning, decision making, and instincts. Conversely you could be an athletic monster but have incredibly poor field skills and end up just being a strong, fast liability, ie just a track and field star.
  3. or drafting him number one overall and having him playing QB ahahah
  4. Please request a trade to Carolina…get out of Toronto
  5. We can disagree but I think he is one of the best players in this draft. Granted I probably saw every collegiate snap so I am a bit biased and granted he was playing with probably the 2 best players in this draft (downs, reece) but this kid is special, the way he moves is just smooth and he is a tackling machine.
  6. Yeah, I've been saying for awhile it's more likely he ends up top 10 than available at 19. Unpopular opinion here though, but I think he carries one of the bigger bust risks in the 1st round. Love the athlete but I'm not sold on the football player.
  7. Yea…anyone mocking him at #19 needs to smell the coffee. Good chance someone takes him top 10.
  8. Those clowns thought we needed NFL version of the Globetrotters
  9. Styles is going to be bigger and faster and more athletic than all those dudes which is batshit crazy
  10. I'm for addressing edge in FA. We just drafted two in the 2nd round and they usually take a couple years of development. I don't think another rookie would provide much immediate help and might stretch our development resources thin. I'd rather look for bandaid vets while we continue to focus on developing the young talent already on the roster.
  11. Not sure he's a great fit for us schematically. Small for NT and lacks length for DE. Historically Evero has liked smaller quicker NTs but I hope he gets over that. Finding a smaller quicker guy who can hold up to consistent double teams is looking for a real unicorn.
  12. Is Lloyd going to re-sign before free agency? I'd be shocked if he hits the open market. If he does, we need to back the brinks truck up to his house ASAP.
  13. It would depend entirely on the money for me. He wasn't great last year but was coming off the same injury Ickey suffered IIRC. That could be a sign that he wasn't fully back in 2025 or it could be a sign that he never will be.
  14. Yes I was about to say. Lower body injuries for big guys is always a huge red flag. Fortunately a lot of good DTs will also be available in day 2. Frankly, I could see Caleb falling to day 2 and it may be worth the punt.
  15. Yeah, his analysis is replacable for sure. I wish Collinsworth would sail off into the sunset too.
  16. Big guys with a history of foot injuries give me a lot of pause. They have a bad track record of reoccurring and he already has a history of reoccurring foot injuries.
  17. I can’t help but imagine him next to Brown. Makes me think of the hogmolly Star/Short days.
  18. Caleb Banks is a massive human being. Nearly 86 inch wingspan? Good Lord.
  19. I like that we're actually showing interest in a true FS type of safety, but Bud Clark is the mid-round safety I'm really keeping an eye on.
  20. supposedly, NBC is looking at Tomlin (could be good!) and Rodgers (bleeeech) as replacement
