He has played much better, that week one was the worst display of Panthers LB Ive ever seen. He's awful young is what I kept hearing, needs time to develop pro-skills. Panthers have no time to give, so its grow as you go............

Is Mike Jack already the 2nd best trade in Panthers history?
Lurk21 replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
Mike Jack is the perfect complement to Horn. Definitely a sleeper vs compensation! As for Horn, the way wrs get hurt, I doubt he gets cut. He may honestly get active status over Etienne bc of special teams. -

Yes, but the point went easily over your head. Brady had 1 pass for 6 yards his rookie year. See how stupid the comparison in regards to using one stat to decide if a QB is good or not. -
Quit embarrassing yourself

Long ways to catch goat-status Olsen for a 3rd, but what are the other trades that can complete with the rare positive Panthers out-come?? Bonus comment- When Coker is back and that should be soon(within one full week), Im about 87.41983% sure Jimmy Horn will be cut....rip PS lovefest, Prepare thy self.....

Pearl Jam would probably be the worst Halftime show ever. Imagine getting hyped off of Jeremy and Better Man. Much rather hear Ice Ice Baby and Informer, throw in House of Pain and Cyprus Hill and we have a party.

This is a stat graphic from the article. It's based entirely on that stretch of games last year called the 2024 season. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/new-stat-panthers-qb-bryce-young-immense-talent-clearer The guy even posted a video of every throw over 20 yards. https://x.com/jagibbs_23/status/1923333859174748471 Since we have now educated ourselves on the actual number of games I think we can conclude it's not a "puff" piece. The first two games of his 3rd season do not replace all of the 2024 season unless you're just being flippant. We're talking about his deep accuracy only. Stay on topic. Even if we are talking about accuracy overall you're still full of poo. Tom Brady 64.3 for his career. Most consider 60% to be the median of average with good to very good being 65-70%. In college Bryce went 59%, 65% and 67%. As he continues to improve in the NFL I think he'll end up about the same trend line overall as he had in college. I agree on the 50/50 balls.

You're seriously pivoting to the GOAT? I am howling! -
Brother this would been the truth, I heard rumors, legit rumors that a switch was weeks in the planning......................Then Williams tossing 4 TD and near 300 yards with a high % and total reset now. Still make no mistake, Ben Johnson loves Bagent and that was the reason for $$$$$. I heard form the source himself, bagent had a better TC/off-season than Williams. He was much more prepared and put in the extra work that Williams didn't care too........ But we all know #1 overall pick get the most rope. There's still time for Williams to revert back and Bagent to get a shot. The teammates love him much more than Williams too....

The Jags are 2-1, the Cardinals are 2-1 only losing to the 49's at the last second and the Falcons scored 22 and 20 against the Vikings and Bucs the two weeks prior to the Panthers. Not sure I would consider any of them trash.

He's the kinda dude you really want the team to turn around for. I know they are all rich, but I do feel bad when I see dudes who are absolute dawgs ride it out with their team for years while they are just shart bombing. I was glad to see Mike Evans get a ring.

If we do to New England what we did to Atlanta then I'd say the floor is 7 wins. I think we've already seen the worse of this team offensively between week 1 and 2. I just hope we havent peaked already. 1-2 teams...32% chance at hitting the playoffs. If we drop this one it falls to 14.9%. Ima just need for us to look competent this season.

Comparing a random stat to another rookie QB has nothing to do with the current subject. Tom Brady had a 6.0 YPA his rookie year. I hope you're not using one stat to define success of a QB? It's not a problem to want him to do better based on where he was drafted although I still contend it doesn't matter after the fact. It doesn't matter if we're talking about Cam Newton, Tom Brady, Russel Wilson or any other QB. It makes little difference once you're in the NFL. Nobody gets a ring for where they were drafted. Higher draft picks will get a little more time in most cases as teams want to make sure they've exhausted all avenues before they admit a draft pick can't play. Other teams might pick them up thinking it wasn't the player but the organization and/or other coaches that caused the player not to succeed. It's people's expectations that are wrong. If we could go back and redo all the draft and put guys in the correct draft spot based on how well they played in the NFL, that would be nice. Then your argument would make some sense. People assume that where a player was drafted is a statement on how good that player is when the reality is there is a lot more luck than skill in drafting. If Coker turns into a pro bowl receiver and XL becomes a bust nobody cares except fans and the media. What we really should say is it's not too much to expect a player who has started at QB for a team over the last 2 years to be better than he currently shows. Don't compare 1st round picks. Compare starting QB's in the NFL. -
They’re gonna have to go up against a real offense before any kind of judgement can be made of them. Tlaw looks like damaged goods, Kyler is completely washed, and Penix….well…. they look better compared to last season but that’s what you’d expect with a healthy brown and horn. I haven’t seen anything that indicates they’ll be considered an overall good defense when the dust has settled. 2002 it is not.

I've never been an Evero fan but ignoring all the BY noise, I can't help but notice that they have been fairly solid so far this year. Not perfect, but definetly heading in the right direction. Hopefully they will keep it up and I can post a big apology to him at the end if the season.

oh yeah cams foot and ryan kalil was our jason kelce if jason kelce had a better personality and talented sister in law.

He'll probably be on the Panthers next year lol

Banging the opposing coach's smoke show daughter and revealing it during game week is top notch trolling.

I don’t know about back, because I never saw him be good. But it looks like he may be getting it. And we sure needed it, and Dan Morgan especially needed it.
-
yeahhunh...if this is hypothetickal then the owners could have decided on a 17 game reg season before that season. and why hasn't pearl jam played the halftime show? or vanilla ice with special guest snow.
