Let’s be honest here. This draft was so much worse when you realize how much we lost too. This draft was honestly a negative. We lost talent and picks. So we got 0 long term effective starters and we lost: 2024 1st overall pick, 2024 2nd (CMC trade key pick), 2025 2nd and DJ Moore. Oh, don’t forget the 2024 1st, 2025 1st and 2024 2nd that we decided wasn’t enough for Burns. That was 6-7 months before the 2023 draft. Fitterer could not have fuged this team over any more than he did in a period of 7 months. 7 months to lose Burns, Moore and CMC, lose 5 potential 1st round picks and blow an entire draft. I hope he was getting paid by the Seahawks or China to fug us that bad.

Bryce Young has one road win in three years and has consistently displayed the lowest volume of yards per play across the NFL since entering the league. Nobody was going around whailing about Jimmy Clausen haters 15 years ago. The word "hater" around here is effectively meaningless thanks to folks like the OP.

So same DC and the AGM is now GM of the Knives Out season with a cheerleader HC is sliding into dysfunction? I'm only surprised it took 1 full season and into the next for the wheels to start coming off myself. All of these people are fools, it's just a slightly better version of 2023 really. Same Shite Dofferent Season under the Teppers

Hoo boy, them hit dogs are hating!

So many coaches fall into this trap. They prefer the veteran who understands the scheme better over the younger more talented player. It's lazy IMO. Do some coaching. You can't coach that veteran into being faster and more physically capable. You can coach the more physically gifted youngster into better understanding his role in the scheme. Every washed up vet in the league understands the game better now than they did when they were in their prime they're just no longer physically capable of executing. So fuging COACH. They want to nerd out on "muh scheme" instead of actually developing talent. Well bro, your scheme looks like fuging poo right now so I'd suggest trying to develop some talent to make it look less shitty.

I am sick of being accused of hating a player because I think he sucks on tbe field and is bad for the team. I could accuse him of hating us because he destroys the thing we love, it seems anything is okay to label as hate. What I hate is the bullshit that from people giving us grief for having a different opinion about a player. So we must hate them them? Look to yourself. You are the one attacking people. going around like juvenile shitting on peoples posts because they say something contrary to your opinion. I dislike your pettiness so much at this point I don’t even read your analysis. You are so ducking petty I bet you probably like that I don’t.

Former Panther Barno Arrested
Move the Panthers to Raleigh replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was so unworthy of the #90 -
I guess that makes something he can do...
-
All things aside, I still wish the young man better days ahead.

To the argument that this is about "sending a message" I put as much stock in the meaningfulness of this as I do sending Xavier Legette to the shadow realm for playing poorly. None of this poo matters until we get a QB with some balls.

Got 12 plays in Q1 + 14 plays in Q2 noted and briefly reviewed. Didn't think that getting down into the play design mattered to most since there's a focus on "Who's fault is it?" rather than "What was their assignment?" Special teams was really, really bad but two of the worst offenders (DJ Johnson and Dalevon Campbell) are no longer on the roster. Akayleb Evans and Maema Njongmeta also did not look very good, but Campbell + Johnson were the worst offenders. I haven't gone back to confirm, but I believe that Campbell was playing the spot that Tremayne and David Moore typically play but with XL out they probably wanted to keep the other two available (wise since the game ended with just three active receivers still able to play). If only Bryce were 7'6", maybe then special teams would have been able to maintain their lanes.

That guy got more chances for doing absolutely nothing here. I never understood the infatuation with a player that was always on IR and when he was in the field did absolutely nothing.
-
So post it. Cool. Just don't get bent out of shape when someone doesn't completely agree with your take or says something negative about Bryce.
-
I think we all know by now that Bryce is struggling with the basic things. I'm more interested in everything else. The rot runs deep.
-
I knew it was a shitshow but I didn't know for certain it was this bad. When your headcoach has to force a subordinate to play a player by cutting another player the subordinate refused to bench that's a dysfunctional mess. There's no sugar coating it.
-
I was considering just sharing the notes because there's a lot of bad and I wanted to be considerate of folks like @Basbear that might be browsing on a device that doesn't play nice with a bunch of videos. Then if there was any further discussion on particular plays, I could capture and upload those. Dude it's so much... the team was so bad on Sunday. There's even a few bad Bryce plays in there for those with hate boners for him.

We draft a lot of those guys. Our front office has a type they like to draft. Big, fast, etc. and we don’t pay attention to skill because we always think we can coach athletes up to be football players. It hasn’t worked out once and normally our un athletic UDFAs out play the guys we draft. The only exception we made was drafting Bryce Young. It was the only time we ignored physical attributes. You can’t make all of this up.
-
Yeah, wait until Tepper decides that his "hands off" approach isn't working and has Nicole run the next draft.
-
The part you always fail to realize is that your working definition of "quality conversation" is conversation that you approve of. You interpret any joking or dissenting opinions as "attacks". Nobody cares about your woe as me bullshit. Post or don't. Just stop whining that people don't roll out the red carpet for you and put you on some pedestal of being the Huddle's own super analyst. You're the biggest whiner on this board and the source of 90% of the reported posts and it's usually just some post you didn't like. If someone dares mention Bryce in some thread you go ape poo but you can scoff and talk about "oh, now everyone will just blame Bryce LOL" in other threads and evidently that's different in your mind. Bryce doesn't need a personal internet white knights defending his honor. He's a big boy... well, that's a stretch. He's an adult. He can handle it.
-
I do appreciate you for being honest. Don't know why the other posters that actively hate Bryce keep pretending they don't. At least a good faith discussion can possibly be had then. I've said multiple times that Bryce is showing this season that he isn't the guy, but we still have posters that feel threatened doing something beyond hating him that think pointing out other shitty parts of the team is making excuses for or defending the QB play.
-
I personally would love a recap. Its helpful to know how bad it is and where it's falling apart. I already know it's nearly everywhere but it helps to know who's developing and who's not. It also helps to evaluate the coaches. But that's just me.
-
I guess it isn’t news to me so it doesn’t have the impact it would if I were just figuring that out. I thought it was just obvious that Evero was given his domain and we had a defacto separation of church and state so to speak. Canales’ words and actions seem to confirm that. As Mint Street Turns so go the days of our lives. However that goes.
-
I can understand folks being exhausted and not interested in understanding what's happening with something they don't have direct control over. At the same time, I cannot understand some of those same folks feeling threatened by fans that do want to try and understand to the point of where they go out of their way to attack them in multiple threads they're not even participating in. With a couple of mods not wanting quality discussions and the majority of the active posters just wanting to scream into the void, it doesn't look like it's even worth sharing the all-22 analysis here anymore. I'll keep doing it for myself since it's fun (I've finally got the first half completed, the notes are not pretty) but to hell with trying to provide anything here that isn't scapegoating a single person it seems.
-
I *think* he does though. Obviously until Tepper changes his mind or we end up 1-15, but I think Dave was told he has three years. The part that kills me with that though, and maybe makes it untrue, if you have 3 years...why play scared? Why run on 3rd and 10s? If you don't trust Bryce, throw him to the wolves and let Tepper see he's the obvious problem...but play normal football instead of scared. The whole operation is insane. For whatever reason, I still trust Morgan and Tillis for another year. But everybody else? Woof.
