Of course, you build through the draft, but you don't reach for players when you have most of you issues addressed in free agency. When you go BPA, you should get quality players every time.

No, he needs to earn his paycheck in the draft. No matter how good you are in Free Agency, you can't be a sustainable and SB contending team without drafting well, and that goes beyond the 1st round.
