I really wish they would just do the Black helmet, blue jersey, black pants combo we saw vs Atlanta. That looked very very sharp. I guess their argument is it's too early in the season for all blacks. I'm pleasantly surprised they've used the black helmets more than once so early in the season though. Maybe they're trying to gauge how the fans are responding to the black helmets. I honestly would like if they made them our default helmets and made the silver ones throwbacks or alternatives.

South Carolina passing offense is absolutely dreadful

Sellers' escape ability and running in general is really good. Throwing is.. alright i guess I don't think his offensive line is giving him much time to throw either. It's kinda disappointing to just see him keep holding the ball for a couple of seconds and trying to scramble or run every time away from the pass rush lol I watched Matteer, Arch Manning, Sellers, and Nussmier today and none of them really impressed me that much.

Mendoza with another tough road win. Had stinker of a pick, but still completed about 65% of his passes and was able to move the offense in a hostile environment.

Nussmier throws ANOTHER INT. Bad one into basically double coverage in the end zone. South Carolina picks it off!! Neither of these QBs have looked good throwing the ball tonight.

For the first time, Carolina will wear black helmets with blue jerseys, blue pants and blue socks. The Panthers have worn similar combinations before, but not this exact one. Carolina wore the black helmets with blue jerseys and blue pants against Atlanta in 2024, but wore black socks that game. The team has worn blue jerseys, blue pants and blue socks before -- including against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving in 2015 -- but that was with silver helmets.

I have mellowed on Stephen A the man but I still will not watch that, I think it’s garbage.

The game cast said it was a 40 yard throw. 3rd down. I am not horrified when that happens because it is very close to the same thing as a punt.

Lot of it has been poor defense in front of Freddie through two. Like Jarvis leaving his man which lead to a goal or sloppy play in game 1 by walker and Slavin that led to a goal. Freddie let in a couple he should've had between the two games but I bet if you asked Rod he'd bring up the play in front of him first.

Didn’t get to watch the game due to family but it seems from the comments our goalie is an issue. I hope it is just early season crap and it will work itself out.
