  1. Past hour
  2. Oh yeah. They took him back in NY because of that SB. He proceeded to do the opposite of good. I ate his first PC up though. “You have to put the proper value on the player”. Sounded great at the time.
  3. I thought Cignetti would leave at first glance. But his contract has auto escalators in it that can trigger every year. They are also funded by a mega rich person so I doubt he leaves.
  4. For early money on a rookie deal? Yes. For a second or third contract? No.
  5. Ok I had the wrong player it was #1 the safety not fisher. And he was involved in 2 of Miami’s TDs I know with missed tackles
  6. Yeah, that's it. Also, can't be a 4.65 guy. You gotta have wheels.
  7. Listed at 5'9"...you know that's a stretch. Dude is a baller though, no question. Maybe a Ricky Manning Junior type.
  8. He'd just be injured for 4-6 weeks afterwards.
  9. All things equal #1 is always better. As long as you can freely trade it you have the ultimate chip. Some years it is a better or more valuable chip but it is always the best one for that season. Incould denigrate Tepper here for not knowing that season stuff, but will restrain myself.
  10. Could turn him into a scat back for our flea flicker red zone hail mary.
  11. Here’s the full video of Nedj brawling with the Panthers: https://x.com/sanjosesharks/status/2013421150072901892?s=46
  12. Ponds would be a great NB. That is one position where measureables are gonna need to be in a range, though. Edit: Coogan(who was getting beat like a snare drum) is largely regarded as one of the top center prospects. Needless to say, this is not a strong center class.
  13. As one draft site ranks Indiana players (overall): Mendoza-QB #1 Ponds-CB #42 Sarratt- WR #59 Smith-OT #72 Kamara-Edge #91 Farrell-S #104 Cooer Jr.-WR #105 Moore- S #151 Fisher-LB #154 Hemby-RB #159 Benson-OT #160 Daley-Edge #162 Nowakowski-TE #164 Coogan-C #204
  14. Gettleman's problem was that early on when he was cleaning up Hurney's cap mess he made some great trash heap moves that really paid off. That intensified his arrogance to billionaire tech bro levels and it was eventually his undoing. If you recall the end of his time in NY after us, he was eventually a guy that was pretty humbled.
  15. That's a pretty loose definition of "several."
  16. He was involved in several of Miami’s TD plays missed tackle on #10s TD
  17. Him translating is a small concern. Him going to the worst run NFL franchise is the big concern.
  18. Alex Smith in 2005 is the only one I can think of. And that Utah team was still more of a spread offense where Alex was a threat to run too.
  19. If you watch a lot of these 4 and 5 star guys that go to a football factory school, accomplish nothing and then bounce, the hit rates aren't very high. It's no different than when normal NFL draft bust guy bounces around. Simmons on our roster is a great example of it. It's more often than not because, well....they just weren't that good.
  20. Gentlemen blew, was crazy the amount of defenders he use to have, didn’t want anyone associate with his staff
  21. Yup, a lot of these guys came from JMU which just made the jump to FBS just a few years ago. I'm a production guy myself. Fug the RAS over production. Cignetti gets it. Just because you have the fastest 40 time or can bench 400 pounds, that doesn't always translate to the football field.
  22. well, be real. He was having success and challenging for a SB trip while we were flailing around like usual in the Tepper era. Pick a year that you wouldn’t have traded outcomes with Buffalo.
  23. That's right, I did see that in the portal. Also, Mendoza at Cal was much more impressive than Hoover at TCU. Not sure if you watched the Cal years but Mendoza was very good at Cal.
  24. I would pay a decent amount of US currency to hear one of those phone calls. Gotta believe half of them start with a very pissed off coach asking how the F he got their number.
  25. Go watch him on that long TD run by the Miami RB. Yikes.
  26. They have Josh Hoover coming from TCU. He threw for nearly 3500 yards and 29 TDs. Mendoza there for barely 3000 yards and 16 TDs at Cal last year.
