I don't think that this is actually anything the NFL itself nor the owners actually care about. You may see some grumbling every few seasons but especially with the expanded schedule, everyone knows the score. If the Rams/Seahawks/49ers lose to Tampa/Carolina, the story ain't gonna be how unfair the homefield advantage was. It's gonna be "How the fug did they blow that???"

I have always said I thought Beuerlein was the better QB. Had we gotten him at a different point in his career, I do think he would squarely be considered #2. I do realize this is an outlier opinion and there are little stats to back up the view. But, different time periods and Jake had an exceptional surrounding cast in comparison to what Steve had.

They were going to change the rules in 2014 when the Panthers finished 7-8-1 then bent over the cardinals on their 9th string QB. I don't see it changing unless they just get rid of division all together. It's fine the way it is, the better team usually wins anyway.

He's likely to make more money in NIL next year than his entire rookie contract if he gets drafted on day 3. He'll only enter the draft if he's denied another year of college ball.

Crazy that we are comparing an college undrafted FA, perennial backup, NFL Europe QB to the #1 overall pick! Just wow! Jake was on a "Fox ball" team that focused heavily on the run. Delhomme played before the rules hamstrung defenses, benefited offenses and before the passing game became as prolific as it is now while also doing it in few games per season. Truly baffling.

Awful is a stretch but this fanbase does tend to lionize him to a ridiculous extent. TBH, I always thought he was the third best QB in franchise history.

I think that is because Bryce had a bad habit(not uncommon for younger QB's) of holding onto the ball and extending the play until he got into trouble. Sometimes the play just isn't there. I think the issue is that it seems Bryce may have swung too far to the other end of the scale. Not even Bridgewater checked down this much.

They won't. That complaint has been around for years. The owners don't care. I don't even think it has ever been brought up at a league meeting.

Bryce doesn't seem like he can really read the field well. He's a short dude and so I think that is playing a roll. I think Canales also has adjusted his offense to try to fit a QB that has limited physical attributes... But Bryce isn't great in the pocket. I think that's why canales runs simpler concepts too
