I think he just tattles on everyone like Hoppin’ Bob from the movie Life.
-
Well whatever the reason he's here he and Evero longer have any value to this team. They have proven that their defense isn't effective in the moden nfl anymore.
-
I have some hope that the 24 draft will eventually be seen as modestly successful by NFL standards. Remember that the Michael Barrett pick ultimately netted us Michael Jackson. I’m willing to give Morgan one more draft and offseason to prove himself. Unfortunately, Morgan carries the residual stench of Fitterer. It’s hard to know for sure if Morgan was an accomplice to or hostage of Fitterer.

I don’t know. I think this is a thing where Tepper thinks more is more and opened the wallet because he could. I don’t think Dom does much probably a sounding board. But that is pure speculation I have no way to know. I do have a negative view on Moire because of that backstabbing with Reich. The picking of Bryce Young, he was here for it and an offensive guy and had a voice in it.

New York Times: Is Panthers QB Bryce Young a Lost Cause
Jon Snow replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
The knives are out. -
And the latest one. This time it takes place a bit closer to home, in Wythe County, VA. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions on how we can make these better, let me know.

Dom and Evero appears to be a package deal. I find that an odd arrangement. Who is actually the puppet master and who is the puppet?

SCO96 started following With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
-
Good point. Too many my fellow Huddlers think that the only way to get a franchise QB is to tank a season so we get a top 5 pick.
-
I don’t even know WTF Caldwell does. I know Dom came with Evero.
-
That is the normal way of doing things but we are not normal. Dom hanging around with no input is one thing. Dom having a lot of influence is another. It's the same with Caldwell, he's outlived his usefulness and his influence is not helping.
-
Okay. I’m not really invested in either.I love Dom just from the old days. Personally I don’t think I would single out Evero for firing unless I was keeping Canales. Not keeping Canales you just fire them all at once. And probably not in season. If I was keeping Canales I’d give him his own DC - as I would for any coach.
-
House of cards finally collapsing. Once it is done, we can start to rebuild. Didn't know how good we had it back in the day. We were hating on Rivera and Hurney, Fox and Hurney. Stupid MFers didn't know what we had.
-
Well whatever his role is it's not helping and both have run their course here. Its time Evero moved on and Dom and his hairpiece into retirement.
-
It's a bad look on the staff if the supposed head coach had to cut the player his DC refused to bench to get him off the field. Thats the definition of dysfunction.
-
That isn’t the context I meant. Evero will already know all the concepts and XO stuff. He doesn’t need Dom for that. And I am not even saying he needs him. Just that Dom has seen it all. He probably has perspective on things that Evero is running into for time to time. that could be useful to Evero. like what to do if he gets in a power struggle with the HC lol.
-
Don't see how or why our scouting department hasn't been gutted. The draft is hard...but the Huddle could literally put up polls and be better than our scouts.
-
But he's been with Evero for 3 or 4 years now. How long does it take to pass that knowledge along? I'm seeing a guy hanging around that has too much influence in a bad way.
-
I don’t see it as a bad look for us. Bad look for DJ. Every team misses on draft picks he got a 3rd year so meh in that context. It happens. I think we have another one in Wallace unfortunately. Maybe not but he needs that light to come on, now. I love it actually but I might be wrong about why I love it. I think he was cut as a message to Evero. I hope he was told, I can cut another one if you want me to. And I will unless you play the young guys.
-
Yeah I’ll eat poo on that. I did some more research. I just remember the negative. Apparently he ran some hybrid defense out of a 4-3 with 3-4 gap fronts while he was there which is interesting. 2016: Tot D- 6th, Pass D- 5th, Run D-19th 2017: Tot D- 2nd, Pass D- 1st, Run D-21st 2018: Tot D- 5th, Pass D- 2nd, Run D-19th 2019: Tot D- 24th, Pass D-16th, Run D-28th 2020: Tot D-31st, Pass D- 27th, Run D-30th

Our drafts have been ass for years. 2016 is one example. Brad berry was good, the rest awful. Round (Pick No.) Name College Years with Carolina 1 (30) DT Vernon Butler Louisiana Tech 2016-19 2 (62) CB James Bradberry Samford 2016-19 3 (77) CB Daryl Worley West Virginia 2016-17 5 (141) CB Zack Sanchez Oklahoma 2016 7 (252) TE Beau Sandland Montana State

It's a terrible situation. Not sure why Canales agreed to it. Unpopular take here, but not sure what Evero is supposed to do with XFL guys on that side of the ball. Jaycee and DB are two of the best players in football. Mike Jack has been really good at the other corner spot. The rest are some JAG's and guys that wouldn't be on other rosters. We have to have the worst ILB pairing in the league. Not sure Buddy Ryan would have success with these guys on the field.
-
Lol, whut? The 2025 QB class would like a word.

Brees wasn’t 6’4” otherwise he looks like a QB. Mayfield is about his size. Thise guys are the edge of the envelope, where I look at a guy and have questions. Size wise they are the Southern borderline. Don’t cross it. Bro you can keep Murray. I will be good if a Murray slips through the cracks because of my higher bar. Outlier and not really that good a pro. At all. I agree he has tools. Fast elusive and a cannon. But I play the odds when it comes to this stuff. And Wilson was a third rounder and honestly I never thought he was that good. (Jump balls and a killer running attack and a killer D, he had success). Not so much since…(but he worked out great for a third round investment. That’s how you do it.Also, the context here is 1st round high pick that’s where I am at with it).
