it's them being cautious. totally understandable.
-
that could just be his way of saying "y'all just don't need to be worrying about that" until there's something to panic over, i'm chill. and there's nothing to panic over at the moment. there's no need to rush it back and/or think that he's not doing everything that is needed to get him back and ready day 1.
-
Well we have a cautionary tale still on the roster in Brooks, so extra precaution seems a foregone conclusion. Duh.
-
Hopefully this is just the coaching staff being cautious and keeping him out of camp. Doesnt sound great though.

zod made an appearance and did some work. he was the only one who was able to stop it. the hope is that we will have a couple mods with admin powers sometime this summer. we'll see, but no one is happier to see the spammers stopped than us mods. it shut down new registration across the board, but that's ok.

JJ McCarthy had a 2nd surgery in November and he's expected to be a full participant in offseason stuff.
-
Honestly it's a little odd that there seems to be any doubt that he'd be ready for the start of the season. Reasonable expectations based on normal recovery timeframe from that injury would've had him expected to be a full participant in OTAs.

Every injury is different but Karl Anthony Towns came back in a month and a half in 2024 from a partial tear and surgery. https://www.nba.com/news/karl-anthony-towns-return-timberwolves-april-12

I get being concerned. He is the biggest (pun intended) piece of our defense. We are in trouble if there are any hiccups in his recovery.

I’m expecting a breakout season from Ja'tavion Sanders

I think we will see a rotation of all 3 TEs, each with his own particular set of skills. -

Really excited for him to build on last season. He looked like he could help some in the passing game, but I'd like to see his blocking level up. There was a few times last season where he looked like he was thinking while executing the play. Can't wait to see him playing faster after a year in the system. -
I got lucky and my surgery was totally elective as it wasnt that bad yet. But if I had waited it probably would have been like yours with a 3 month recovery. Knee surgery fuging blows and its still not 100% as if I twist it a certain way it def feels like bone on bone or something

Had mine scoped ~15yrs ago and my recovery took ~90 days. There was a lot of loose cartilage floating around in mine though when they went in and they had to do more cutting/shaving than anticipated. DB is also double the weight I was then as well. Big guys usually take a little longer to recover from those lower body injuries due to there being more mass for them to have to support.

It's more about where the bar starts around here which is amazingly low after years of subpar play from thst unit. -

My birthday wish is that the huddle changes Ians name like they did with The Golden Calf of Bristol. I do not care to see his fuging name ever again. -
Jalen Hurts went 14 of 21 for 108yds in that same game too... If we're gonna cherry-pick stats, of course.

I think jt has already passed that subterranean bar -
Good is semantics. But no I dont think he can ever be an elite qb consistently in the nfl due to his limitations.

I think T-Mac opens up a lot of opportunity for others to eat. I really like Sanders but we may need 2 footballs for him to reach those heights. Here's to hopin' tho. I'm also excited to see him and Evans. When was the last time we truly had a TE that could block and catch with equal powers? -
It's almost like the other teams weren't even trying that hard...
-
So you watched those games, and you don't think he played very well? Stats don't always tell the story. Like XL's TD drop to take the lead against PHI at the end of the game. Again. Not about stats. There are a lot of factors that help or take away from QB stats. Do you still think his "physical limitations" prevent him from being a good QB?

brutal and scary injury -
While I think we will be a lot better this year, we are not a super bowl contender. Whatever he needs to do to get healthy for the long term, he needs to do.
-
he had 191 yards with a 56% completion vs philly at 5.6 ypa 263 60% 7.5 vs kc "very well" I mean............
-
I am not sure you can watch him and not take away that he is isnt limited in what he do. The bouncy in the pocket, the throws that sail in the air etc are dead giveaways
