  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah 200 yards on the ground is a pretty good indication you are in the game all the way. We almost lost both though. I have seen so much of this ‘damn people can’t be happy even when we win’ commenting, do they really believe we aren’t happy for a win? There is the small picture of the week’s game and the big picture of the overall situation; some people can do both at once.
  3. He’s missed a month and a half with a non contact soft tissue strain dude is out of shape. I don’t care what they told Joe person to say.
  4. He has been clearly visibly upset on the field and sidelines a number of times. I thought he would have forced his way out last season but his hammy put him on IR.
  5. Yeah. Agree, what was Dan to do? You have to take the L and protect your team from a bad apple at that point. FWIW, I saw through AT completely with his behavior on the field and sideline last season week two I think it was. He is really good at feeding the press an image of great teammate all about the team and blah blah but it is lip service. The helmet throwing stuff completely confirmed it for me. The joy at having a quarterback (Dalton) that could open up the playbook was obvious too. Bryce has to learn to sink or swim without training wheels. The young WRs need to get their field time. He was probably addition by subtraction in the big picture. Plus we got a 4th and saved some money.
  6. Corollary: right around 200 yards through the air is basically what he’s good for per game. panthers win if the running game and defense get going and he doesn’t sabotage too badly early.
  7. I love how the “OGs” boast of working at PFF means something (to him). I’ve been on this board for 20+ years, and it’s never not been a collection of dummies, smart asses, and whiny babies - including myself. But it’s good banter for the most part. If someone was truly a guru at football and was wasting their time spewing it here instead of turning it into millions of dollars running a team or coaching a position, that says more about them than any of the “idiots” on this board.
  8. Don't sweat it he will just get injured again
  9. sure, if Moton is out, BC is a decent tackle, way better than Nijman. Corbett is an alright guard, but he has no business playing center and it showed.
  10. For some reason I don’t think they can see it it’s f….. crazy Mays is just better right now the line preforms better it’s not hard to see.
  11. they can start him (at guard), thats bout it.
  12. An interesting factoid to add some fuel back in here: In Bryce's 9 wins, he has eclipsed 200 passing yards in only 2 of them. Of those 9 wins, we averaged 156 rushing yards per.
  13. I don't care about getting to .500, our entire staff would be absolute morons irrevocably to me.
  14. Yea but you're not supposed to trade 2nd round picks for them or give them big contracts in FA lol. But I guess we did a lot better on giving Baker a shot. Hardly cost a thing. Which makes you think. If you could get a guy like Baker for next to nothing, why wouldn't you?
  15. Well, we did try that for several years unsuccessfully, so I do think that may be impacting Tepper's decision making.
  16. TBD. That was what the team has said but then you had all the reporters in TC talking about how great he looked conditioning wise. Either he showed up to OTA's in sad shape or there is some messaging going on. Either way, he isn't going to be able to not be in good or great condition and have a lengthy career. He better learn that lesson early. It's something Nacua was public about battling.
  17. Of course I'm paraphrasing if you heard the interview he backed Dan in to a corner. Could have been a threat to retire vs saying he'd be a jerk. Either way he forced Dan's hand and I'm sure the Vikings were fully aware
  18. We should have brought one in last season for no other reason than if we were to make a playoff run with an improved Bryce from last year, you dont throw that away with an ancient Andy Dalton who already showed he's not capable of more than taking snaps if Bryce were injured.
  19. Well, you really have to be an elite running unit for that to work....most of the time. You still need some level of creativity in the offense. Ask the post-Kellen Moore Eagles.
  20. I assume you are paraphrasing with the ‘asshat’ lol but what interview was this? Even without that info it was pretty clear to see that his home life was taking a nosedive over the wife and kids being homesick, when this came up. And you don’t want someone who doesn’t want to be there spreading the old negative vibes around your young players, your decision is pretty much made for you. I have fired people and instead of letting them do a notice just paid them for that time and told them to not show up.
  21. if they are going to be really good at one and suck at the other this is definitely going to lead to more wins than the other way around would. The less Bryce has to pass the ball the better tbh
