  1. Past hour
  2. I presented that scenario because this is a home game and we seemed to have improved in some capacity in that area as of recently. The problem with the possibility of sweeping the Bucs is this team has had a habit of quickly falling victim to momentum shifts. The Bucs are coming off a bitter loss the same as the Panthers but the Bucs have a much better proven track record this time of year and they have performed when the pressure is on unlike our Panthers. We have a shot against the Seahawks here in BOA but that is a matchup that could quickly get out of hand because they are a well coached team and that goes back to the momentum shifts I mentioned. I just don't see this team beating the Bucs in their stadium to close the season. Tall order to say the least.
  3. I’d give it another year for Sanders and Evans, I don’t much care what you do with Tremble’s spot. Let him have another year or maybe replace him. Haven’t looked at his contract so that may be the determining factor.
  4. Following the crazy up down pattern we finish 9-8 with an improbable sweep of TB, and lay an egg in the home playoff game. I don’t know if I can sign on to sweeping TB but I suppose it’s possible, they aren’t really that good this year. ps I can buy beating TB Sunday and losing to Seattle. Then it just gets to can you fluke one game. Any given Sunday. So we’ll see.
  5. The Panthers are so comically inconsistent they could very well defeat the Bucs this Sunday and then lose the final 2 games.
  6. Well I was a Darnold and I think you know what I have thought about Bryce since before we even drafted him. You can’t blanket statement this poo. But my standards start at tools/size. I am lenient when I see potential. Anyone that can watch our team for 8 years and be glad we do not have Darnold because he probably would choke in the SB or the NFCCG has eaten some real sour grapes.
  7. The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone and we have Taylor Moton inked to a recent extension. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.
  8. This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.
  9. The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year. However next season is already a different story The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
  10. How did you axe someone that doesn't work for you?
  11. The Sam Darnold fanbois are so hilarious. It's no wonder we also have a contingent that still believes in Bryce. A significant chunk of our fanbase has no idea what a good QB even looks like.
  12. Its all a lot of people on here know how to do. If they can't see the improvements Canales has made to this organization, that no other coach could, then they are just blind haters with no facts to support their arguments.
  13. Today
  14. No doubt you are right about who Dan and Dave refer to. Luke seemed pretty happy with not having having the team called ass. 2nd place schedule. Or lol even 1st possibly. Gonna be harder.
  15. You would hope so. I’m confused why the sports world seems split on Bryce when he’s obviously not working out.
  16. So let’s do the reverse? Make everyone agree everything he does is a disaster? I also think the whole “gaslighting” is on the eye of the beholder. It went from he can’t avoid one single sack countered with he actually did that well Sunday (with data backing it) to a little breakdown of why he is so bad. People are going to have different opinions. I’m also not going to pretend this wasn’t happening Day one with this little QB.
  17. All this great stuff he has done, how often does he do it? I have it at three or four games out of 14 where he was very good and then you get a drive here or a series there where there are some good things. Here is the gaslight part: everyone has put him on a curve with his first year the baseline, neglecting to understand how bad he was then. Even if he comes back twice as good, where does that really leave him? 25th ranked or thereabouts. He had so far to go, and still does, it is a Major ‘settle’ to accept his play as worthy of giving him our future. You want to settle when the Bucs have Mayfield, and the Saints have overtaken us at QB? We will be third in the division at QB. That is good enough for y’all?
  18. The defense that's near last in cap allocation and still keeps the team in the game every week. Sure.
  19. Wasn’t good enough to tackle Tyler Shough once. I don’t pin the last one on him. The first one yeah, the last one was on the defense.
  20. Fact is this is a .500 team without a QB. I'd say that supporting cast is good enough.
  21. Vikings offense was 9th in scoring in 2024 and 25th this year. Seattle went from 18th last year to 3rd. It goes both ways. Darnold has done very well. He’s got 8000 yards, 66%+ completion and 59 TDs in 2 years with 2 games left. He’s contributed a lot. Ask Justin Jefferson if he misses Darnold and ask JSN if he’s happy with Darnold. I’d love to have Darnold.
  22. Losing out would mean a total defensive collapse. I imagine it would be Evero who gets axed.
  23. Coaches suck. Wrs suck. Oline sucks. Tes suck. Rinse repeat
  24. I’ll be there live Tuesday. This one may end up being a game where 6 people per team are in the penalty box after the first 2 minutes.
  25. Because we've been gaslit for 3 years by every little thing he does that isn't terrible. That's why. Its pretty simple.
  26. Again I’m good if we move on. Mentioned it numerous times. The problem is anything positive is met with people freaking out. There is absolutely nothing we can do about it so just sit back and see what happens. We are allowed to mention if a player good or bad has a good game or did something well. I mean I will continue to do so and certain people are just going to have to accept it.
  27. The refs man. They let Florida get away with anything. At some point someone needs to do the rest of us a favor and put one of the Panthers in the emergency room. That's whats gonna happen eventually.
