Even a tiger WR in the thick for me, I mean 2nd or 3rd for this guy. Heres a fluff vid and he's what the Panthers need in the slot....
-
I had the same thought--there are 4-5 Tigers they could use--DT, Edge, RT, (I don't want to say QB, but) QB. Tex AM seems solid in areas of need. Last week I might have said Oregon. Of course, Ohio State's entire roster will be drafted before 19...but if one falls....

2025 Draft Re-Grades (Or, One Idiot Doubles Down)
MHS831 replied to Joe Bear's topic in Carolina Panthers
so where do you scholars go for your draft info? I don't really read much more than you guys because other sources know less than we do---I can say that I think a few of these draft gurus have some inside info, but nothing great. I used to talk to Brandon Bean-we are both from Stanly County (both knew each other from S Stanly High)-but he would basically share his opinion and it did not usually match Hurney's views. He did tell me that MH followed the coaches recommendations for the most part--and Richardson would ask questions about the prospects he liked but would never tell anyone who to take. Thats about it. Point? If they trust you with the information, you can guess with more accuracy. -
He maybe more of a slot or dynamic or whatever trigger draft word. His results against zone are the same as TMJ, mingo, and XL...... Plus Im sure you and my man @TD alt see the other bust among this this. Polk was traded for floor peanuts. Coleman, LOL do I need to post one of his fiddy stories?? Mims, bust, harry bigger bust.....I mean Jesus its petty bad how clear this is. Plus Panthers want Brian Thomas Jr and have called jags a few times....THUS this is their top profile for a WR....... No wonder the KC love. FYI you want a WR above 2.3.....thats the magic number and lemon is a 3.22 which is tops. There's other studs in the 3 range.....You know zone is like 70% of many teams base.... This guys can not figure it out and that's clear here.....

That and If there's a strong 50/50 split among two important groups. UDFA that's some brownie points, I heard " They were the only team to give me a 30, so I had to come here" Why not, what bugs me is each year they only use 27-28, Id make sure each year 30. Plus I would wear out the local loophole. How about this- the record falls this year!! Panthers will draft a tiger, witness me!!

As of 8:08 PM: 13 people say defensive back 12 people say TE or WR 11 people say OT 12 people say DT/DE 4 people say LB (Probably because round 2 is where the LBs live)

I think I'd use it for that and for medicals, mostly. -
I dropped this and igored it for several hours. It is pretty balanced.
-
My mistake about joker and Mike being bubs doing the turn. I did see where the GM and Mike hated each other at the end too.
-
If I were a GM, I would use most of the 30 visits to recruit UDFA candidates. Telegraph nothing.
-
Why does the game need to be on tbs and trutv and the HBO app?
- Yesterday

Yeah Knicks tonight but not in a couple days lol. They were crushing it just with bench on Saturday though

I mean, I don't know what you're seeing or reading, but I've heard (not read) several analysts say that Concepcion plays stronger than his size. Like I said, you've got it twisted apparently. Keep in mind that these are only a few. The dude is as tough as nails from what I've been looking at. "Concepcion is a very dynamic runner after the catch who shows impressive vision, can make defenders miss in a phone booth and shows good competitiveness to finish his rushes. His role as a rusher hasnβt been as prominent recently, but received a lot of carries as a freshman. Gives pretty good effort when stalking opponents in the run game, with a physical temperament and better functional strength than expected." https://www.fantasypros.com/2026/01/2026-nfl-draft-scouting-report-kc-concepcion-wr-texas-am/ "Play strength is better than youβd expect given his size, a little bit stockier and stronger than this type of receiver typically is" https://jonledyard.substack.com/p/2026-nfl-draft-scouting-report-texas-eae Strong Hands and Competitive Toughness "Despite not being the biggest receiver, Concepcion attacks the football, finishes through contact, and plays with noticeable intensity. Heβs reliable on contested catches and tough over the middle." https://www.draftnation.com/articles/2026-nfl-prospect-profile-texas-am-wide-receiver-kc-concepcion

That's the new reality of college sports. There's really not much of a reason for guys with eligibilityvremaining not entering the portal with the option to return. Especially with a coaching change and not knowing how you'll fit into his plans. Throw your name out there and see if there's a better offer.
