  1. Past hour
  2. You would be absolutely insane to think that. If 2026 mirrors or is worse they are done. That is just how it works
  3. AND THIS RIGHT HERE IS THE ENDEMIC PROBLEM..... 17 POINTS ON A TEN LOSS TEAM 163 YARDS PASSING AND 1TD IS ONE OF HIS TOP FIVE GAMES
  4. Canales is currently under contract through 2029. If Bryce has a bad year next year I'd bet dollars to donuts that the following year sees Dan and Dave being allowed to pick the guy they want to replace him. Zero logic to cleaning house just over Bryce, especially when you consider that neither of them were in charge when he was taken.
  5. There may very well be a point here. And that should be part of our scouting and scheming. I wonder how Jackson does against speed vs height as well. And then have Moerhig (sp???) double up on the speedster for some hard hits. Nothing slows up a speedster like a couple of hard tackles.
  6. There's enough data to make an educated case
  7. I think Horn really just had one really bad play Sunday. But that's sort of what you pay him for.....that one man on man play at the goal vs Olave. That's supposed to be Horn's strength. Being able to play man over zone. I still think Horn lacks the one season that actually proves he is what we think he is.
  8. I guess I see the game similarly to PFF, because I was texting my GC all game long about how bad the TE's were. It's a massive hole on our roster. All three have had at least one game where they looked like a pro bowler, but the week to week has been really poor. Additionally, Corbett continues to struggle. He seems like a great dude, but I think that experiment has run its course. Ick with a really bad game, but he's been good this season. Defensively man, no pass rush and no ILB. The good news is the holes on our roster are clear and evident to everyone. I still hope we go BPA in the first. We're going to have to start paying some of our guys rather than free agents with the cap money.
  9. Huge improvement! Defense alone is enough to call it that. Big step forward with such a young team and so many new faces. That usually takes time. Bryce hasn't really improved from the end of last season. Took him 12 games to finally throw the ball deep. Canales is... better. Love his aggressive style of playcalling. Still takes too long to make the right decision regarding personnel. But he seems to have a plan for everyone on the field. Will it work is yet to be seen - looking at you XL. Evero is inconsistent and too conservative. I just really don't like his defensive philosophy, but the defense is much improved. Players or coaching? They're still improved so have to give him that.
  10. Doubt he'll ever be elite, but as I've mentioned previously it is fair to point out that he's improved over the past two seasons and could further improve next year also. I'm still not confident in him at this point but none of us can guarantee that won't happen.
  11. Year 3 and similar results and I can guarantee you it's wrap for them
  12. Your right they don't but there is also a massive gap to the right side to step into between the Mayes and the double team Corbet and Moton put on the LDE.. like massive 8 yards, before his dumbass backed completely behind the tackles there was 2 1/2 yards to width to maneuver between Ickeys man and the double team.
  13. Based on Eugene Robinson and Jonathan Stewart’s analysis in different podcasts, the play call should’ve been a straight sneak or dive the time for young to turn to turn and hand the ball off plus the line plus Chuba gave too much opportunity for the defense to react they played the game on offense and defense. I have not. I’ll take their word for it
  14. I will never not think the guy is an elite corner possibly the best corner we have ever had. He is for the most part lock down with some of the best hands I have seen at corner. Now this is just me and the ole eye ball test, you line him up vs big and fast corners he's good. You line him up vs 4.3 elite all world speed he struggles greatly in that area. Olave has made him look bad in both matchups and off the top of my head I think he had a bad rep against the jets.. overall tho he can't be beat deep if you run faster than a 4.4.
  15. Why out the “if”? Bryce isn’t gonna become anything then what he has been. A backup level player.
  16. Yeah.. I have been holding out hope. I watched QB1 and was very impressed with him. He has always been an undersized high school kid that has excelled everywhere he has played... but the NFL is a grown man's sport. To me its clear.. despite holding out hope, that BY is not the guy.
  17. the biggest problem Carolina has....is the bleed over they allow from one mess to the other. All the hiring and firing Tepper did, he never gave the org a cleaned house and a group with a legit fresh start. Always the last era seeping over.
  18. Even if Bryce doesn't have an elite year next season, I wouldn't hold my breath on that.
  19. Unpopular opinion but he really could have gotten it. The line got enough of an initial push. Chuba jump cutting to the wrong hole instead of lowering his head allowed the defense to recover. That was on Chuba.
  20. David Njoku will be a free agent at the end of the year. When he is healthy, he looks really good. Older and more injury prone though.
  21. Then I will rejoice when Dan and Dave are fired next year.
  22. clearly, Bryce's family is here. And Zod has purchased one of those Russian bot farms to spam the board with horrific QB play takes defending Bryce Young
  23. That's a philosophical take. Whether or not he deserves a huge amount of blame for a certain game (specifically, the last one) isn't really a philosophical question. But since you posit that as an NFL quarterback he deserves a lot of blame for losses, can I assume that you'll also affirm he deserves a lot of credit for wins? (that would be consistent logic)
  24. Mimicking Mr. Scot is horrible strategy is not a good look. But have at it. I mean, there was no sound argument you can make against that post so i sort get that....but... It must be a weird place to be so invested in defending a meh QB 24/7 as not meh when the bar is much higher.....that you got to gaslight and create alternate realities.
  25. I suspect there'll be a significant gap between what we need and what we'll get. Better backup? Yeah, probably. Any form of competition for Bryce outside of a team ping pong tournament? Wouldn't bet on it.
