  1. Past hour
  2. While I agree with you in spirit my gut and my heart says I'm not falling for this again until I see consistent results across the entire upcoming season. Then I'll breathe a sigh of relief and truly feel better about the future.
  3. Today
  4. After some time to process and also in light of other small markets being successful and not requiring top overall picks to compete. This years finals looming large. While I readily acknowledge the league office clearly despises our franchise and has absolutely no qualms about us getting the short end of any stick in the draft lottery. The Hornets may just be doomed regardless due to their own mismanagement and inability to draft and develop legitimate playoff worthy talent. And we seemingly always pick the wrong player in the draft. I mean at this point we can even take a hard look at the 2020 draft and someone like Haliburton going pick 12 while Ball went 3rd. Did we draft the wrong guy or are we just that inept at any level of talent development or is it a mixture of both? Looks the latter right now.
  5. I feel we are already moving in a better direction before we even take a snap this season. We have hope now. People are talking about us brewing something special. Remember how dismal things were when Rhule was here?
  6. at the time, there was a lot of chatter of Dan being a Tepper yes-guy pick to followup when Fitterer left Dan seems to have proved otherwise, much to the fanbase' happiness
  7. Anything he can do to help bring awareness to mental health will always be welcomed by me. Throw in his practicing/working out with Coker, JT, and TMac and it looks to be a good offseason for him.
  8. I think most people in the fanbase like XL he has that kind of personality that folks gravitate to. But visibility as an athlete for a losing franchise can be a double edged sword. You've got to show juice on the field that's the most important step to build a brand outside of football. If not fair or not the same folks will let you hear it. For that reason I just want to see him live his best life on and off the field however he sees fit as long as our franchise is moving in a better direction.
  9. Rehashing it now just for fun? Even Bryce himself admitted his shortcomings and at times disinterested energy before the benching. I can see why you spend as much time as you do on twitter. Toxic needs toxic. Hopefully your day gets better my friend.
  10. Lol man. You are a bit premature here. First, have we ever really had a great front office? Second, all we know so far is a pretty poor 2024 draft base on the results and a 5 win season. I don’t care about the close wins. Rhule almost beat both the #1 playoff seeds in his first year and had us talking playoff seeds after week 4 in his second year. I like Dan’s second draft way better but how about we get a winning season before we crown Dan as some amazing GM? We did see a lot of Fitterer in the 2024 draft and his being the right hand man for maybe the worst GM in history was why many of us wanted a fresh start. Dan’s Miami and Panther career means nothing if the team doesn’t improve and become a playoff team. Also, take a bit of a chill pill. No one is actively rooting against him now. He’s the GM now so we want to see him have the best drafts in NFL history and win 3 SBs in a row. Doesn’t matter anymore if we didn’t want Scott Jr. as the GM. Just can’t crown a guy after 5-12 yet. Lots of people who thought Fitterer was good too.
  11. Ironically a great example of why your constant complaints of trolls and haters falls on deaf ears with most here now.
  12. He was at Julius Peppers draft gathering in BOA when he was drafted. Met him but he was an ahole then
  13. I'm confused why we're throwing a grenade about Netflix in here after all the complaints that have transpired about Bryce threads being derailed in the past. The phrase "do as I say not as I do" comes to mind. It was what anyone that has any basic expectations for this franchise would be able to agree was an unwise and ill timed remark from a first overall pick following a brutal rookie season. He made a mistake. He's seem to have learned from it and used that and other negative on field experiences to reshape his trajectory for the better going forward. We are now waiting to see him take the next crucial steps forward this season and we hope he does. There's no reason for anyone to bring it up unless they are just wanting a fight which seems utterly pointless in June. But I guess have at it if you're bored.
  14. Yeah, I'm not back for sure, just lurking during the off-season. Can't post anything someone may disagree with without it being taken as some personal attack. Anyway, yeah, Nikishin will be on the 2nd pair with Burns. RBA's exit presser really sounded like Burns will move down to the 2nd line. Slavin-Chatty Nikishin-Burns Ghost-Walker Morrow
  15. I dont think this is the flex you think it is. He said this, and then went on to have the worst 2 starts in arguably historyto start the season. Which in turned gave DC no other option then to bench. So yeah, focusing on the offseason obviously matters. So dunking on the netflix folks looks pretty embarrassing all things considered. qb rating of 6 and 10. "I was kind of away from football for the most part, just living every other aspect of my life. Just hanging out, being around family, being around friends, getting back to a routine that doesn't revolve as much around football. For me, it was still being able to just enjoy and work out, but the Xs and Os actual football part, kind of stepping away from it." "Legit, it sounds boring, like I'm holding something out, but I'm not. But it's really like I watch YouTube, I watch TV, I watch Netflix, and every once in a while, I'll go someplace to maybe look at some clothes or something. There's nothing really cool that I'm just trying to hang onto. I'm definitely kind of a homebody. I'm an only child, so I'm used to being able to just chill on my own. That's how I decompress. So it's really just that."
  16. Stop taking it as some personal affront. I don't care about UNC, Duke or State. I'm simply stating that Dean Smith did not tolerate nor want a "superstar" on his team. He believed in team play and that nobody is above the team. The Canes will not attract a 100-point scorer because RBA doesn't short shift lines to keep Aho on the ice, like we've seen the Oilers do with Draisaitl and McJesus- both with around 30 minutes in regulation time. It's one reason Aho may never see a 100-point season, because he won't get the ice-time to do it.
  17. what an amazingly informative set of posts
  18. Bryce is a good guy and despite my doubts I really hope he proves me wrong.

  23. When #Panthers QB Bryce Young was a kid, he went to a Kobe Bryant basketball camp. He said he was too nervous to ask Kobe questions, but Bryant made sure shake every kids’ hand and take a picture with him. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/1931346938563068027?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
