  1. The Jets are willing to part ways with Darnold for a reason. They know him better than anyone, and they're letting him go. Let that sink in.
  2. Ok I'll note this post of yours and we'll come back to it.
  3. Our GM is a moron. It's over. This is a dumb move made 100% out of desperation, bad timing, and it's a bad deal on our end. We got screwed and now we have an inferior QB and we're out a second round pick. What the hell is Fitterer thinking? We have the worst GM in the NFL.
  4. If the Pats stay put they will lose out on the the top WRs, but if they trade with us then Cam could be throwing to Ja'marr Chase. Otherwise Cam will be throwing to trash, and that didn't work too well last season.
  5. QB, Sewell, or trade down. The Patriots will probably want one the WRs that will fall to us imo.
  6. 1.) Trey Lance - QB 2.) Levi Onwuzurike - DT 3.) Amon-Ra St. Brown - WR 4.) Trill Williams - CB 5.) Caden Sterns - S 6.) Alaric Jackson - OT 6.) Eroll Thompson - LB
  7. Yeah we might be targeting Liam imo.
  8. I would take Sewell over Pitts, but the Panthers are starting to show their hand imo. Based on what we've been doing lately, I think the Panthers think Sewell will be gone, and we don't want Pitts. That points to our Panthers thinking Trey Lance will be available, and I think that is the pick.
  9. I honestly don't think Rhule is the right coach for this organization. He is the one who wanted Teddy, and he actually thought we were going to pay him more money when he saw the contract. He thought we got a deal for Teddy. That is not who I want as our coach. Then with the Washington game looming Rhule was determined to win in order to teach his players how to win in December. As if the players learned something in that game that was more valuable than us drafting Wilson or Fields. As if the players suddenly became vets by beating a team that had a QB who couldn't complete a pass. Now we have a GM who is in on every big FA deal, loses out on all of them, and signs backups. That's not going to get it done in the NFCS with TB signing dominant superstars. We just have the wrong team in place, and our owner is fed up and pressing the panic button on the QB situation. He knows we're not going anywhere with the current plan in place. Teddy and building slowly = 8-8 limbo. Pointless. And it kills me that none of this had to happen. Bad choices led us here.
  10. If we go 11-5 with Teddy then that means our NFCS rivals were decimated by the injury bug, and we stayed healthy.
  11. I think we can go somewhere around 8-8 with Teddy. He can make enough short and mid-range passes to beat struggling teams and bottom feeders, and we'll knock off a decent team here and there. The problem is that 8-8ish is the worst thing that can happen. It puts us out of range for the top QBs in the draft, and it gives the coaches hope that we're only a few more players away from the playoffs. This is what I call QB limbo. The limbo was started by Rhule when he decided he wanted Teddy rather than letting us bottom out and draft Lawrence. Grier would have led us to Lawrence, or at worst Wilson. Rhule chose QB limbo instead, and now we have to trade the future get of limo, or just keep floundering for several more seasons of pointless 8-8 records. The only one thing I don't want for the Panthers is QB limbo. I'd much rather bottom out at 0-16 and have the hope of taking the top QB, than win 8 games and have no hope for the future.
  12. And we had fans here who wanted us to beat Washington. Just dopey.
  13. Sewell and the 4 QBs will be gone by the 8th pick imo. We're paying the price for winning the Washington game, and bringing in Teddy to try and win in a pointless season.
  14. Not even close. I'd be shocked and my remote would be embedded in the ceiling.
  15. Yeah he can fly, and I don't think they updated the program.
  16. In fairness I do know know about Dan Arnold. I did ignore a lot of Covid games by other teams last season.
  17. If that happens then we're looking at 3 potential pro-bowl WRs. I think we would have our sights on Chase, but a decent trade offer from a WR hungry team would do the trick. Which team would want to trade? The Patriots are at the 15 pick, so not too far from us, and they have trash at WR. Straight trash. If the Pats have a strong desire to be able to pick from Chase, Waddle, and Smith, then they might call us. If they stay put then they will watch all 3 WRs disappear in front of them.
