  1. That is possibly true and understandable. If do it when you only win then you're a sore loser. That's my point. They were happy to shake hands in the regional championship when they won but ran off the court like sore losers when they lost. If they never did it than I could understand your point but when they lose it called being a classless sore loser.
  2. It's a tradition in college basketball and only sore losers disrespect the tradition. Duke has always been sore losers. Duke didn't seem to have an issue with it when they won their region.
  3. I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully, Love hangs around another year and develops even more. This comment also got me thinking about Leaky Black. You don't hear much scoring from him but he is on the court full time playing solid defense. That shouldn't be overlooked and if he can limit one of Kansas's stars to minimal points Carolina has a great chance of winning on Monday. I think that is what sets UNC aside from many other programs. They teach full fundamental of basketball. Not only scoring but playing tough defense. Those traits go a long way for a Pro prospect. How many draft picks drift into obscurity because they just can't play defense.
  4. Another reason I have hated Duke for so long. When they lose they are a classless bunch of crybabies.
  5. I'm a bit irritated at TBS. They interviewed Coach K but not Hubert Davis. Davis has done a brilliant job in this tournament. He continually made the right moves. I would have loved to hear what he had to say.
  6. That game put Coach K .500 against Carolina.
  7. March 5, 2022 Coach K "This loss is unacceptable but we aren't done yet" April 2, 2022 Coach K you're done. WAY TO GO TARHEELS
  8. Why? I listen to everyone but that doesn't mean you're going to change my point of view. Willis is overhyped and too dangerous of a pick especially at #6. I think Corral and Howell are much better and saver picks.
  9. @Martin @ForJimmy Great rebuttals. Come on tell me what makes them so different other than Willis being overhyped. PJ threw nearly 450 more yards in his final season in a better conference than Willis. If Willis was such a great QB why did he leave Auburn. It's not like Auburn was trotting out a Heisman Trophy candidate every year. He couldn't even win the starting job at Auburn so he transferred to a school where he could play. Don't blame him because he wanted to play but the talent level Liberty played wasn't against quality programs.
  10. Please, he's over hyped and you're wrong. PJ is just as athletic as Willis just not hyped up like Willis is. In any other draft he would be a mid-round pick at best.
  11. Those are the times you should be concerned. Hell I can throw an accurate pass in sweats and t-shirt.
  12. Cam is 6'5" Willis is barely over 6 feet. Willis will get killed a la RGIII if he tries that in the NFL. Cam lasted 8 years as big has he was. How long do you think Willis will last. Plus his accuracy is terrible.
  13. Both come from small schools Similar Height 5 11" 1/4 vs 6' 0 1/2" TD to Int final season 22 TD 13 ints vs 29 TD 12 ints Passing Yds 3295 vs 2857. Inaccurate passer check both QBs. Why draft a guy when we already have a similar skill set on the team. Get off the Willis hype train we don't need another 3rd string back-up QB.
  14. Throwing sessions don't mean squat. I love how Howell gets the "it's in shorts and no defense" but Willis gets "You must not have watch any of his throwing sessions" I've seen some of his highlights and 1/2 of them are him running. His throws are inaccurate and in the NFL that means a high interception rate. PASS
  15. He's a talent but for the life of me I cannot explain the hype he's getting. Any other draft and his 2021 performance would have him an 2nd or 3rd round pick. He runs too often, He's highly inaccurate but he throws a nice ball. That's all good just that it most likely will end up with the wrong colored jersey.
  16. I pray Detroit takes him before we get a chance to. Why would we want a athletic QB, with a great arm but couldn't hit a bull in the butt with a Banjo. We already have a QB like that on the roster. PJ Walker.
  17. If that's the case than we wasted a ton of money on decent free agents. Why sign all these players if we are playing for 2023.
  18. Exactly Howell's dilemma. Lost two NFL RB and two NFL WR and an O-line not nearly as good as 2020.
  19. IMO it will depend on how the draft unfolds in the first 5 picks. Every year there is a surprise pick that no one expected. I think if we trade back that our GM believe that one of these talents are going to drop down to the pick that we are trading for. I don't believe it will be lower that 15. The biggest thing is we might not get the super stud everyone wants but we pick up a pick or two later and actually grab 2 or 3 really good players. It's a gamble but if we plan on building through the draft we need more picks. As far as this forum is concerned. Either way 1/2 of it is going to be pissed. Those that think we should trade down and get more picks will be angry we didn't a Stud LT and those that want to stick at 8 will be pissed because we only got one decent player in the draft. Double edged sword
  20. I am a Tarheel fan. That said I've had a chance to see a couple of his games and his talent is undeniable. If you surround him with good receivers, a good back (which we have) and a decent line (which on paper we have) he's going to be good. In his rookie year, he'll make rookie mistakes and maybe even lose every game he starts (like Manning and other great QBs) but he'll learn and become a long time starter. I'll eat my words if I am wrong but I'm telling you know. Howell is going to be a star. It's not homerism, it's a belief many of you are grossly underestimating Howell.
  21. If he's cut. You're telling me you'd rather go with Darnold or a rookie with a lot of learning to do? I am totally against trading for him but if he was on the free agent market I would give it shot. Our options are getting smaller everyday.
  22. That's about to change. He was probably the top QB coming into the 2021 season. Sadly Carolina didn't have the weapons he had in 2020 yet still missed his 2020 output by only 500 yards. Whoever drafts him will have the best QB of the lot.
  23. Howell is just as good as any of the other prospects in the first round. You may think he's a lower round but don't be surprised if he goes in the first round as well.
