  1. I am fortunate that I have AFN. AFN shows all the games in replay through the week. I get a chance to watch a lot of games. We are, by far, the most inept offense in the league right now. Brady is the reason. Lack of experience or just plain egotistical that he can't adapt to the NFL. I said in a thread I posted earlier this week that I don't think it would matter who was under center that we aren't going to produce the high octane offense we are capable of. We have the weapons but we don't have an OC that can game plan an offense to get them the ball. Cam had a terrible day, I believe 5 or 6 of his attempts were blocked. It is pretty easy to block a short pass when you are two feet from the QB. Our O-line is abysmal and our OC cannot design plays to help with that issue. I was skeptical of a college OC and only went onboard because anything was better than Shula. Now I am not so sure.
  2. Cam was terrible yesterday as was PJ and not much different from Sam. But all IMO get somewhat of a pass until we get an offensive line. We need top of the line free agents and First and 2nd round talent in the draft. How can you expect any QB to operate when the defensive line are 2 feet away from you on every throw. How many blocked passes did we see yesterday. Some of it is on Cam but damn the offensive line was getting pushed around all freaking day. I would also say a new OC I sit here and watch other teams that may have worse offensive lines still be productive. Yeah I get it that is was a limited playbook for Cam but there is no way we can continue with easy diagnosed plays. Our offensive coordinator doesn't know how to scheme against an opponent. I truly don't believe he studies as much as he should. Rhule stands by him and that is part of his problem. Atlanta is our last chance at a W and honestly I don't see us winning anymore games this season. If we lose out. Fitterer stays and the rest hit the road.
  3. I am not sure who's idea it was to let Cam go and start this merry-go-round we have at QB now. There is no one in their right mind going to believe that TB5 or Darnold are better options that Cam. As things unfold I think the decision was all Rhule. He wanted to start fresh, which I can understand, with his own QB. Many of us thought it was a stupid move and nearly 80 million dollars later we are fixing what could have been money we could have used on another position, Say an Offensive Line. There are very few times in life you are able to right a wrong. Cam coming home is not only making a wrong right but the best move to get us a chance to make 2022 special. Someone said it earlier. If this team somehow sneaks into the playoffs. I would not be the team that would want to face us. We are going to be a tough out.
  4. I wish I could say that any of these options are possible but other than keeping him or cutting him and eating the dead cap is about the only thing we are going to see. He was garbage in N.Y. and started out good but went to hell after week 3. I see no way any team bites on a trade just to help us out. Our draft capital is thin this year so every pick is going to be cruciat. At our current pace I see us mid field in the draft. I see us trading back to get more draft capital going into the 2022 draft.
  5. I'm as optimistic as you can get on this forum but, our schedule is brutal with two games against TB and ,NO and Buffalo. We're, at minimum, going to have to win at least two of these. And we can't let WFT, Atlanta, or Miami screw it up for us. It's a big task since we seem to brain fart games we should win. The only thing going well for us is that the wildcard, at the current pace, is going to be a 9-8 team.
  6. If he plays well you can bet that there will be other teams offering him a deal.
  7. Panthers make the Playoffs and Cam is comeback player of the year.
  8. I have been wondering why we don't give it another try with him. I thought and even more so now that he was better than any QB we've had on the roster since he left. Brady will have no excuse now. Unfortunately I don't think he'll start this week but I hope he starts next week.
  9. It was nothing? I tell you what had Burns sacked him and rolled him like he did to Burns. Burns would have been fined and suspended. You are F***King blind if you can't see that BS was intentional.
  10. I was at the Philly game and when we were on offense it sounded as if we were in Philly. When Philly was on offense I could barely tell it was 3rd down. I totally agree. I know Carolina is a perfect place because we have a good location. Teams from the North and South don't have far to travel but damn. Can't we fill at least 3/4 of the stadium with Panther fans.
  11. Here's the dilemna. Being near the top of the draft Again, at least at our current pace. Do you snag a QB? Or do we go with the 2nd coming of a reclaimation project? Do we draft excluesively O-line help or do we rebuild our O-line with top of the line free agents. I think we are going QB in the drat and stocking our O-line with top of the line free agents. We got money.
  12. I don't see where we are trying to put the blame on the draft. We've had more players take the field from our draft class than any class I can remember. While most (actually all) aren't going to make the Pro Bowl they have shown flashes that give us hope. Brown and Christensen I think are because our O-line coah and OC are garbage. At this point putting Christensen into the fire is probably the best thing we can do. I had high hopes for Brown and IMO they are putting too much stress on the weight issue. The guy was a bull dozer in college. They should have given him a shot. IMO there is no way Christensen can do any worse than what we have seen this season.
  13. IMO it has to be Brady. I watch many games on AFN as they show most of the games throughout the week. The one thing I see is many teams are doing different things to move the ball through the running game. Misdirection, gadget as well as pounding the ball. Brady doesn't do anything to help his QB. The running plays are generic and the passing plays are just as bad. These should be no reason with the talent we have on this offense to be scoring single digits every week. Snow could do more adjustments but you can't expect the defense to win games for us when they are on the field 40 of 60 minutes. We were all excited about a young talented offensive coordinator and it appears he just had great talent at LSU. IMO Brady needs to go. Bring in someone who can take the talent we have and move the ball.
  14. I agree but it seems Shaq brings a nastiness that infects the others. I just seems to me that when he's on the field the others play with more violence than when he was out. I LOVE IT.

  16. I can see that Odell wasn't a good fit for Cleveland and it is questionable whether it's Baker's fault or Odell's. I predict he ends up playing the year out in GB. It just seems to be the team that can use him the most.
  17. The point, IMO is that Shaq is be attitude for this team.
  18. You know it is always hindsight when you talk about a player we could have . Some many people put Jones down because he wasn't athletic enough like Wilson and Fields but he IMO is probably the best rookie QB of the draft. I love the Horn pick and the injury really makes you want to second guess the pick. If we had the chance to redo this pick I would have been happy with either of them. Jones but not Fields.
  19. Our one hit wonder is going to have a good day
  20. Watching the game last week I notice that Shaq was bringing an attitude to our defense. He laid wood on a couple of plays and that infected the rest of the defense. They brought an attitude we haven't seen since he was out of the lineup. Shaq and the defense is going to make it a long day for the rookie. Mac Jones is probably the best rookie QB for the season but he is going to have a tough day this weekend. Not to mention that Gilmore is going to get at least one Int this weekend. I also think that since he was with the team until recently he will have some insight on the Patriot's offense.
  21. My biggest issue with this coaching staff is the vanilla that seems to reek from this team. Joe Brady, for someone that is suppose to be innovated, is absolutely terrible at designing a game plan for NFL defenses. It seems we run the same damn play over and over. When was the last time we saw a misdirection play? A play to get the defense from loading up the box. And probably the worst trait is he has no mid game adjust me. Same plays in the first half compared to the 2nd half. Phil Snow, I love his concept, but when a team runs the same slat over and over for big gains and doesn't make an adjustment. Fitterer, my only complaint with him is how many freaking cornerbacks are you going to trade for? Especially with the status of our O-line. We need interior O-line help now. , Draft picks IMO are still one of our best ever and that needs to continue. As a GM that has probably has one of the worst lines in the NFL, I would be fixing that instead of going after cornerbacks.
  22. Anything is better than what we have out there now. Darnold is getting hammered.
  23. I like what Hubbard has done in CMC absence. I can't stand Freeman. A 238lb RB can't get you 2 yds when you need it, is garbage. Smith might do some nice things out of the backfield.
  24. I thought we pretty much dominated the game against Philly. They didn't drive the field once for a TD. We gave them 2 short fields for TDs. I thought the huddle would have been headhunting C. Blackburn. How in the hell do you allow a blocked punt with 4:00 to go in the game. I see us winning this game easily. Gettleman will be on the hotseat. It will be nice to be a part of his firing.
