His career is over. Next.

Shi Smith is prepared to give this entire team a boost.

Royce Freeman needs to get in the game in the red zone. Only time I saw him all day he was sitting on the bench looking lonely.

Why did they get Royce freeman if they aren’t gonna use him in the red zone

You do see the difference in experience levels between Snow and Brady’s play calling Brady’s situational play calling leaves a lot to be desired. And at times I’m really not sure what he is thinking. There was a 3rd and 2 where they called a weird pass play and Darnold got sacked hard. Bad play calling.

Well hopefully the defense can keep standing up because Darnold might not put up another point today -

Sam Darnold is ass and Joe Brady sucks at calling plays in the red zone. What a joke this team is. -

A little more insight on the almost Matt Stafford trade.

Let’s see how he does in LA before we call it a bad take -

Agreed. Stafford is a spoiled rich brat from oil money in Dallas. He’s physically gifted up the wazoo and his arm talent might be the best in the NFL, but he hasn’t accomplished anything in his time in the NFL and probably doesn’t have that fire in his belly to be great. -
You’re great I love you

Vegas knows how bad and inconsistent the Panthers are. This game is a 50/50 toss up the first week of the season.

I don’t think we know enough to say that yet.

Leave it to Mr. Scot to post like he's giving a press conference. You trying to be a head coach with these platitudes? We all know the Panthers should come out and destroy the Jets. They're at home and top to bottom they're the better team. Any kind of loss means there's something broken with this team out of the gate and the fanbase should rightfully be getting pitchforks ready. Last season was miserable enough but losing to the god damned Jets Week 1 is inexcusable.

As much as I'd like to say I don't want to see that happen, I also have a morbid curiosity to watch and participate in that train wreck.

who's that bear

Granted, but like I said earlier in this thread not all losses are created equally. The Panthers hung tough with the eventual Superbowl champion Seahawks in Week 1 of 2013, who were also a playoff team in 2012. Only lost because of a Deangelo Williams fumble. Completely different caliber of loss. The Jets were one of the worst teams in the NFL last year and will not be winning Super Bowl this season.

We’re going to learn a lot about Sam from the first game. The NFL has a cruel sense of humor putting this game Week 1. Just like then they made the Panthers go play the Broncos Week 1 in 2016 after the Super Bowl. I don’t care if Sam doesn’t publicly come out and say he’s extra motivated to win this game. But if he isn’t, and that shows on the field on Sunday, it was a massive mistake to trade for him. Honestly I’m not sure if he is or not. He’s an even keeled guy on the surface and maybe it doesn’t mean anything to him. But I really, really hope it does for the sake of the team.

Apples and oranges. Road loss to a division opponent is not the same as this.
