  1. Yea because even at like 37 Dalton can still throw the ball further than 20 yards without having to use his entire core strength to will the ball that far
  2. What why didn’t they make them punt again on 4th down after the false start?
  3. I have this hunch if they just cut Bryce tomorrow and get him completely out of the building forever the entire team will look better
  4. For real, watching that Rams/49ers game on Thursday it just showed how god awful this retard franchise is
  5. One of the dumbest players in team history. His schtick is cute when he’s performing on the field but it makes him look like a moron when he isn’t. Well if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, I guess it’s just another draft bust
  6. 100%. Can’t believe he’s on an NFL roster. Constant liability.
  7. Video discredited, OP roasted, thread over
  8. If that happens Tepper should make him the highest paid coach in the history of the NFL
  9. I really hope after all the mistakes he’s made, that Tepper finally follows a proven NFL model for success. Maybe he will finally hire a consulting agency for the search.
  10. With the exception of the Arizona comeback we rarely see Canales rally the guys to make games competitive after being blown out. I think it stems from a lack of faith in Bryce and honestly Bryce’s limited physical abilities. If you have a QB who physically can’t push the ball down the field, how are you going to make a comeback when down 28 points in the second half?
  11. Bryce is 7-27 as a starter. No one is making a knee jerk reaction. Stop.
  12. I can tell you that a 12 year old playing madden could draft better than this team has done since Tepper bought the team. Their refusal to draft a starting caliber center despite many great opportunities in the 2nd round is infuriating. But hey at least they got Terrace Marshall Jr and Jonathan Brooks, one who isn’t on the roster anymore and another who will probably never play another snap for the team. Worst run franchise in the NFL right now
  13. The identity of this team is how inept a franchise run by a hedge fund billionaire with zero pro football experience can be
  14. I genuinely wonder if Tepper will keep anyone who doesn’t do what he tells them to do when he tells them to do it. Until he does, this franchise won’t ever win more than 5 games
  15. I mean sure, I don’t expect to land a HOF level coach. But they need to get a head coach who can at least instill a winning culture. Maybe Reich could have done that but like others have said and we all suspect, Bryce probably wasn’t his choice at QB and he checked out. I think when we heard he wouldn’t change his scheme to fit Bryce we all knew what that meant. So the bigger problem we have is, how do they instill a winning culture with an owner who doesn’t listen to the people he hires? It won’t even matter who they get. I’m not even sure if they did magically hire a future HOF caliber coach that Tepper would railroad them into oblivion.
  16. Listen guys, I think about 98% of us can now see Bryce isn’t going to be the long term solution at QB. I’m not going to say he was truly set up for success on the Panthers, the team is a mess and he’s already had three head coaches in his short career. There is plenty of shade to be thrown his way, but at this point I really think we need to back off. We need to focus our energy on the coaches and management that keep playing him and expecting him to win games, when it’s clear he’s too physically limited to elevate his game into being a starting caliber QB. I will say he’s not as atrocious as he used to be, but that’s not saying much. It’s time for the team to move on and I don’t think we need to pile on Bryce anymore to make that point. Focus on the decision makers and let’s start the path towards the future.
  17. That’s fair but I think you’re putting the cart before the horse. They need to find any semblance of something that works. They tried Matt Rhule the college guru, they tried Frank Reich the grizzled old veteran coach, and they tried the young up and coming offensive head coach. The next logical step is a defensive head coach, hopefully one respected for being a good leader. It is not likely this team is going to find a franchise QB any time soon either, but they’ll likely have a high draft pick again in 2026 and who knows? Maybe one of these QBs coming out this year takes a step up. Or maybe they wait until 2027. I just hope they don’t force the QB position anymore. The last two (Darnold and Young) they gave up assets to get and it backfired both times. At least Darnold was on the cheaper side and showed more potential than Young did. Darnold has a great arm, Bryce can barely throw 15 yards with any velocity. I guess I’d rather the Panthers go back to something that has worked in the past than to keep trying to force themselves into being someone they clearly aren’t.
  18. The main problem is he’s clearly a terrible leader. Leadership is an earned, developed trait. Sometimes an innate one that some people just tend to have or not have. David Tepper might have had leadership skills in the finance world, but football is an entirely different type of leadership style and different type of people to lead. The team is clearly being run poorly with so much turnover since Tepper bought the franchise. He’s incredibly impatient and honestly had no true idea of how to build a winning football team. It was the worse possible situation for the Panthers to end up with. Ben Navarro at least had some experience with football and his daughter is a professional tennis player so at least he had some understanding of what it took to build a winner in athletics. Tepper had zero idea, and he shows that every single losing season the Panthers produce. He had a layup hire to bring the Panthers out of the doldrums with Steve Wilks that he passed on, and ever since then I’ve believed Tepper will never be able to pick a head coach that will lead the team to a winning season. It will always be a mess.
  19. I mean I HOPE we can be lucky enough to even end up in a situation with a good offensive coordinator that gets plucked to be a head coach. That would mean this team finally had some success. So I’m going to just going to have to agree to disagree on all of that. But overall the most important thing the Panthers are missing is leadership, which they haven’t had any true semblance of since Wilks was the interim head coach and especially not since Rivera was head coach. So offense or defense or whoever, get a quality leader in the big chair and let him build a quality roster of good players and men. It’s not happening right now.
  20. That game makes no sense at all. I think the Falcons just didn’t prepare for that game thinking the Panthers were dogshit and got surprised. They picked a bad day to have a bad day
  21. We all know this season isn’t going to get any better. Bryce Young doesn’t have the physical tools to ascend to the next level, he’s too limited to elevate the offense, and it’s unlikely he will be the starter next year. I imagine the team will try to trade him for anything they can get in the offseason. It is likely they will need to clean house again after this season depending on how bad things get, but with the purpose of going full on defense and getting back to who the Panthers were when they were successful in the past. It’s time David Tepper stops forcing his will on the franchise and they get back to what they historically have done well. Hire a defensive minded head coach. Draft defense in the first round for three straight years. Build the roster in spite of the QB. Get by with veteran journeymen and take shots on some young reclamation projects. Draft some late round QBs and maybe get lucky. But stop forcing the QB position, stop trading assets for QBs, and build the roster. There is no other path forward. Tepper has tried everything else except following the blueprint that made the Panthers even remotely relevant in the past. It’s this, or continue to be a bottom dweller until Tepper dies or sells the team.
