  1. Bryce will get 3 seasons most likely. 2026 could be when Arch Manning is coming out of college.
  2. Colts fans are still optimistic about Young because they know Frank Reich is terrible.
  3. The test Bryce didn’t pass is the oldest one in history, the EYE TEST. He physically looks too small to play in the NFL, his college WRs and support cast were elite, and he generally wasn’t the most impressive player on the field. I keep going back to the game vs Texas in 2022 and I was like, this guy is the prospective #1 overall pick? He was folding under pressure and getting dogged by a mediocre defense. I knew he wasn’t going to do much in the NFL that day.
  4. https://x.com/nflrookiewatxh/status/1708602795358576836?s=46&t=04sKNnhiiGcTDblLYKGiJQ Sucks having to watch the other two QB options succeed. It was clear that Bryce was not going to be as good in the pros as these other two options. I will admit I wasn’t a fan of drafting Richardson #1 overall with his limited experience but Stroud had the resume to be #1 overall. I was fully out on Bryce after watching him get obliterated by a mediocre Texas defense in 2022. He had elite WRs that made more of the plays than he did. One silver living here, I was reading some posts about this very topic on the Colts subreddit. Most Colts fans are still optimistic about Bryce because they know Frank Reich is absolute trash. I work for a company headquartered in Indiana so when the Panthers hired Frank I got some scoop. He’s always been a bad play caller and the knock on him in Indy was he never got to draft the QB he wanted. So Colts fans are laughing at him now because he got to hand pick Bryce and he’s failing miserably. This just reinforces the fact we HAVE to fire Frank before he ruins Bryce and this huge investment they’ve made into him. That or start Dalton the rest of the year so Bryce doesn’t get shellshocked and ruined.
  5. They are both bad. Frank might be a little worse at offense. Rhule had a defensive coordinator whose best season in the NFL came from coaching the line backers on the 2008 Lions who went 0-16. Let’s not get anything twisted here. They’re both awful coaches.
  6. We could have drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. Oh well we’re always going to be losers from now until Tepper sells, dies, or moves the team.
  7. Believe me I am sure it is starting to creep into his mind. The fanbase hates him, the stadium is old, his Rock Hill project failed. The stars are aligning for him to leave.
  8. It works if you’re a good coach like Sean McVay who is well known to have scripted the plays and receivers to Jared Goff.
  9. Why is it that the other rookie QBs can complete passes down field and throw touchdown passes but the one the Panthers drafted can’t?
  10. I was against drafting him mainly because when I watched him play against a mediocre Texas defense in 2022 he looked like trash aside from one last miracle drive that gave Alabama the win. If Quinn Ewers didn’t get hurt in that game, Texas would have stomped Alabama, and their entire season would have gone differently. Bryce seems like a nice enough guy, but he’s too short to read an NFL defense and the head coach is a reject from another bad franchise.
  11. A Facebook memory popped up on my feed today. 6 years ago I was in Massachusetts where my wife grew up and we ended up getting great seats to see the Patriots and Panthers in Foxboro. It was an absolutely GORGEOUS Fall day. Not a cloud in the sky, around 70 degrees, slight breeze, just a perfect day to watch a football game. The Roaring Riot was out in full force and there were a surprisingly large number of Panthers fans at the game. There were enough that every good Panthers play I had multiple other fans around me to high five. Cam was on point that day and was obviously motivated to take his game up a notch against Tom Brady. The Patriots defense made a ton of mistakes and blown coverages. McCaffrey was still a rookie but was still getting a lot of attention from the defense. Mike Shula called a good game and smartly used CMC as a decoy to let Fozzy Whitaker score a big TD. For all the hate he got, he was actually one of the best offensive coordinators in team history. The game was close most of the game but the Panthers started pulling away late. Brady brought the Patriots back with his classic heroics, throwing an TD on 4th down late in the 4th to tie the game. If it wasn’t for a late 3rd down penalty to keep the Panthers final drive alive, the Patriots were probably going to win. Either way it was a great game and one of my favorite sports memories. Fast forward 6 seasons and this Panthers team is unrecognizable and miserable. Since David Tepper bought the team, he hasn’t done anything right aside from put the logo at midfield. With the 8th oldest stadium in the NFL, compounded with the failure to build the new practice facility and team headquarters in Rock Hill, and the atrocious performance of the team under his ownership, I have no doubt that relocating the franchise is creeping into David Tepper’s mind. The fanbase is fed up and checked out, evidenced by visiting fans filling the stands at every Panthers home game. Charlotte FC is another awful team without a stadium of their own. It was bittersweet to be reminded of this nice memory given the current state of the team and the poor ownership.
  12. Would have been cool to have those 2 firsts and a second from the rams right now Scott
  13. Sad thing is Wilks is going to get a real shot at being a HC probably as soon as next season.
  14. My guy, I loved having a player like CMC on the Panthers but he did not belong on this garbage franchise. I’m happy he gets to play for the son of the head coach his dad played for.
  15. I genuinely wonder how many games in a row the Panthers need to lose to fire him. It’s possible the Panthers are the worst team in the NFL this season and the coach of the worst team in the NFL should always be fired IMO.
  16. I’m not thrilled with the rush defense but considering the offense didn’t score a point in the second half, it was a legit performance.
  17. Ejiro Evero is working magic with an injury depleted defense. The secondary was down 3 out of 4 starters today and starting largely practice squad players. The starting MLB is out for the season. He has turned former bust Yetur Gross-Matos into a productive player. The defense dominated the game, scoring a TD and holding the Vikings to only ONE 3rd down conversion. They gave up 14 points, one of those TDs on a short field because the offense sucks. Evero can’t leave the building and the only way to keep him is to promote him to HC.
  18. It sucks so hard to suck this year because the 2024 QB class is STACKED! Instead we have a QB who is too short to read the defense and a head coach who thinks it’s 1982
  19. Evero literally coached out of his mind today. He’s the best coach on the staff and no one else is even CLOSE
  20. Why would any panthers fans bother watching this team? They’ve won 11 out of 34 home games since 2019. The team that hasn’t won a game where they trailed in the 4th quarter since the Eagles game in 2018. The Panthers are dogsh*t and don’t deserve fans.
