Don’t waste your time being a Panthers fan. Tomorrow is not guaranteed.

It’s just so weird and surreal how tragedy seems comes in bunches. Damar Hamlin is 24 years old and is in critical condition in the hospital right now. Life is bigger than any sport. Life can be taken from any of us at any moment. Go hug your kids, call your parents, love everyone you care about twice as much. Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. -
It’s f*cking horrible. He might be alive but he was given CPR for almost 10 minutes meaning that’s 10 minutes his brain and other organs might have not been getting oxygen. Being intubated means a host of other pathogens can get into your body in an already weakened state. It’s so awful and am praying for that man and his family. This is just terrible.

I am not so much beating myself up as much as I am getting numb to all the tragedy and grief. Over the last 3 years both my wife and I’s family’s have endured unexpected losses for a variety of reasons and now I’m just waiting for what awful thing is next. The cosmos upped the ante with my brother in laws death. Whatever is next will probably be worse. I pray it isn’t but life has shown me it is unnecessarily cruel. That’s why I say, enjoy EVERY MOMENT. You are not guaranteed tomorrow. -

I agree. Priorities change and as you get older, and what’s really important becomes clearer. A silly loser football team doesn’t seem worth my time. It’s not fun anymore. -

Thank you for sharing your story. What a considerate thing for Blake to do for your friend. My brother in law died in a horrible freak accident that could happen to any of us. His family got to say goodbye from a bed in the ICU in his last moments. Makes no sense how life can be so cruel, to someone who loved life and seemingly had so much time left to live. And that’s not the only tragedy his family has had in the past few years. This one was really hard. I was hopeful the Panthers could pull one out for me today. But you’re right, it would just be a distraction. Oh well. One of the best things the Panthers have done for me over the years is the friendships. There are friends I only talk to during football season. Well, I used to, as many of them are doing their own thing now and not following the team anymore. I think this team has lost a lot of fans over the last few years. I’m sure they’ll be back if Tepper ever figures out what he’s doing. But, so is life. We don’t have a lot of time on this earth and priorities change. -

It’s true. Anyone you know and love could really be gone tomorrow. I’ve had it happen too many times in my life. Too often we take our loved ones for granted. We waste our time, say we are too “busy” doing other things, until one day that loved one you haven’t seen in a few years isn’t around anymore, and you wish you found the time to take those trips to visit them. I thought maybe the Panthers would pull one out for me on a day when I needed it most but, they’re the same old losers they’ve always been. -

Man, that’s hard brother. Sorry to hear about that. I thought about if what happened to my brother in law happened to me or my wife, and it terrified me. You’re totally right about keeping the noise in perspective. -

We can only cry and grieve and look at old pictures so much until we have to try to do something that brings us joy. Today I turned to my favorite football team to deliver a distraction from pain and all it brought was more of it which made me realize there’s nothing left for me in supporting this team. And that might be true for many others who haven’t realized it yet, hence why I wrote my post. -
I’m really emotional today after losing my brother in law yesterday. He officiated my wedding and was always such a great guy to be around. He was robbed of his life at only 37 because of a freak accident. It is just another reminder that none of us are guaranteed we will be here tomorrow. Life can be taken from you at any moment. I could have really used a big Panthers win today to lift my spirits, but instead I’m treated to the same old miserable bunch of pathetic losers that always show up when the games start to matter. So my New Years Resolution is to stop caring about football. I no longer get any joy out of watching the Panthers and my time is better spent elsewhere. I might still keep an eye on the final scores from time to time, but this isn’t a hobby that is worth my time anymore. I implore all of you to consider spending your precious little time elsewhere as well. Family is something worth investing your time into. Maybe a creative hobby. Or exercise. If watching the Panthers lose brings you joy, more power to you. It’s your life, spend it how you want. This is merely a reminder that we have no control over when our time comes. And I don’t want to waste any more time on something that makes me miserable. I hope you all have a great 2023 and I’ll see y’all around.

I told you guys during the week this game would be rigged. Why is anyone surprised? The Panthers are a losing franchise. There’s no reason to be a fan of this team anymore.
-
I shut the game off but I already know how it’s going to end. Why are you guys bothering to watch? Brady leads them to a win at the end. No way the NFL allows the Panthers into the playoffs. Zero.
-
Shut the game off, it’s over.

I’m too emotional from the death of my brother in law to watch this LOSER team squander yet another golden opportunity to be anything other than a miserable garbage franchise. This team doesn’t give me any joy anymore.
-
That ball might have hit the ground
-
I’ve never seen this team get more lucky breaks and have the ball bounce their way. If they lose this game the entire franchise needs to be flushed and come back as a completely different thing
-
For a guy that disappears for games at a time it’s surprising that anyone thought he was worth more than 2 first round picks and a 2nd round pick.
-
So how many plays until Brady has them in the lead? I’m gonna say 5.

Bench Taylor. Play J No. Run the Ball

Wilks is a coward for not going for it on those 4th and 1s -
When you have a coach that is too big of a coward to go for it on 4th and 1, the team loses confidence in him. It shows he doesn’t believe you can get those yards. When you play against Tom Brady, you restrict as many possessions as possible. Wilks should understand that and the fact he doesn’t means he can go. The Panthers should be down by 3 scores by as many mistakes they made. The ball literally bounced their way multiple times. That is so rare for this cursed franchise. The universe has realized, this is the retard Panthers, why are they getting any luck? Beat down by the Bucs incoming in the 2nd half. Multiple Darnold INTs and horrific pass defense. Get ready. Bucs 38 Panthers 17
-
It’s so funny the one drive they go for it on 4th down they get a TD. Wilks, are you listening? Did you learn NOTHING from Ron Rivera? Figure it out quick or just quit.
-
Wilks is coaching like a coward. It’s Tom Brady. You never give the ball back to Tom Brady if you can help it. Best power run game in the NFL in the last 6 games and he’s punting on 4th and 1. Read the game idiot. He can go, I’m over Wilks.
-
Wow. That’s it. Game over.
-
Wilks is probably gonna cost us this game being a coward. Doesn’t go for it on 4th and 1. Doesn’t throw a challenge flag. Just runs out the punter on 4th and 1 when you’ve got one of the best power run games in the NFL right now. That’s not head coach material to me.
