Wilks can’t have players looking like this at home against the owner’s former team and expect to keep the job. He should be fired at the end of the season same as every single other coach that ever even spoke one word to Matt Rhule

What I want to happen: Panthers defense makes adjustments and stops the Steelers run game. Trubisky throws an ugly INT for a pick 6 on the opening drive of the second half and the Panthers tie the game. What I know is going to happen: The undersized and soft Panthers defense goes into full loser mode and the Steelers offense runs train on the Panthers en route to an easy win

Same old Panthers. No reason to keep anyone on this roster. The entire franchise from the owner down needs to be replaced to have any hope.

Wilks needs to beat Tepper’s former team at home to have any chance at getting the full time head coaching job. Losing would knock him most likely out of contention. Losing big and he might be the first interim coach to be fired. -
Wilks doesn’t deserve the job if the defense looks like this against one of the worst offenses in the nfl

Unless the Steelers offense magically looks competent all of a sudden and Darnold doesn’t turn the ball over at will, I think this might actually be a comfortable win for the Panthers

Second choice is Shane Steichen. I was more into him when it looked like the Panthers would draft high and get CJ Stroud.

Frank Reich and if not him, Frank Reich can be OC under Wilks.

Winning begets winning. I’m all for losing when the team looks like ass but if they win the next few games and make the playoffs you won’t see me with my panties in a wad. Although, I’ll admit I’m still expecting the same old Panthers to show up and disappoint us all.

That’s what happens to a defense that is small on the edges. Any team that can body up the Panthers in the run game is going to maul them. Pie in the sky scenario, this team makes the playoffs. You know who they will play? The Dallas Cowboys. One of the best rushing teams in football. I wouldn’t be surprised if they put up 300 rushing yards on this defense.

I’d also like to note than Erving has been reported as being instrumental in the development and mentoring of Icky.

It was obvious players and coaches were not being held accountable under Rhule. There was no improvement in his time as coach. Magically he’s gone and the team shows improvement? Wild concepts here.

At this point sure, they aren’t gonna be at the top of the draft board to get a top QB anymore, might as well make the playoffs!

Hell I’m surprised they pulled it out, sure looked like they were gonna blow it by giving up the onside kick. Still a 5-8 team likely going for a 5th straight losing season doesn’t give me warm fuzzies.

Oh whoopee we’re 5-8 heading towards a 5th straight losing season….I’m surprised they managed to win this one but wow Seattle’s defense is BUTTHOLE. First road in since Cam’s first game back over a year again and all of a sudden you guys think we’re still not cursed??? LOL
