And wear a sign that says “you like that”

The Vikings barely beat the Lions on Sunday but they’ve had a pretty tough schedule so far aside from the Lions. They’re a missed FG against the Cardinals and OT loss to the Bengals away from being 4-1. They are stacked with talent on offense and are able to air it out and run. Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen are tough to cover. Mattison is a solid backup to Cook. And their defense is still coached by one of the best in Mike Zimmer. I’m worried this is a game the wheels completely come off for the Panthers. The Vikings can attack the defense in many of the same ways the Cowboys did. They will not make the same number of mistakes and penalties the Eagles did. Even if CMC comes back at 75% it’ll be a tough game to win. I’ve got a bad feeling about this one.

Still a relatively new team compared to those franchises, in a city where everyone grew up somewhere else. Add on the fact the Panthers are a usually a frustratingly bad team most seasons. Ticket prices are ridiculous and watching the game from home is just as good if not better than going to a stadium full of drunk idiots to watch the team lose. The only good thing about the Panthers is that we’ve had more success than our sister team the Jaguars

Because he made also bad throws and mistakes with plenty of time to throw. For example, he forced the ball to Robby on his 3rd INT to basically end the game. He had Ian Thomas wide open on the right side of the field for an easy 10+ yards.

Same old Panthers. Huge losing streak here we come.

Interesting take, tell me more -
Brady was so overhyped because of that LSU team. He wasn’t even the offensive coordinator or called any plays there.

Probably what Robby was screaming about on the sideline

I’m pretty confident the Vikings are going to skull f*ck the Panthers. Darnold throws 5 INTs, defense gets raped. Vikings score like 48 and the Panthers season basically ends in Week 6. -
Watching Rashawn Slater be great makes me sad and angry.

With all the investment in the front 7 and after seeing for years with Fox and Rivera that a good pass rush can win games even if you have a mediocre secondary of no name guys, I thought drafting a CB in the first round was foolish. Not that Horn is a bad player, quite the opposite. But a LT is a hard position to plug. Slater was considered a top level talent and at a premium position. -

Darnold was a gamble and my guess is it was a losing gamble. Even with Darnold on the roster I banged the table all off-season to draft a QB like Fields or at least sign a veteran backup just in case Darnold failed. All we have is PJ Walker as a plan B and we all know he’s not a starting caliber QB. But we’re stuck with Darnold for this and next season given his contract. The defense forced two straight turnovers in the 3rd quarter today and Darnold was able to do jack squat with it. I knew we were going to lose after that. They didn’t even get a first down on either drive after the turnovers to my recollection. -

To be real he played like ass today and everyone with functioning eyeballs could see that. -

Exactly. I do derive pleasure from eviscerating the Panthers poor performances on this forum every season though. It’s too easy. Horrible decisions and mistakes all off-season and then we get terrible mind numbing losses during the season. It’s a broken record at this point! -
We all want the same things bro. We want this team to win games. Sad part is, I knew this was coming. And that makes me sad. I just hope the rest of the season has some good moments…

Your tune sure has changed in the past couple weeks Onto the original topic. These takes aren’t overreactions. Today was a complete embarrassment. I saw a team of uninspired, unmotivated, losers. It’s pathetic and infuriating the team was talking about making the playoffs this week and come out and play like that.

We as fans put our heart and souls into the teams we support and the sad thing is, there’s really no reason to do it. It’s kind of a mental illness to support a sports team. -
Rashawn Slater is an absolute stud at LT. Fitterer admitted how hard it is to find quality OL talent by trade, and apparently free agency too given how bad the free agent acquisitions have been. You would think in all his years of experience he would have realized LT was the premium position to draft in the top 10 over a CB. The Panthers offensive line is now worse than even last year. We could have had Slater protecting Darnold and the entire line and offense would look much better.

Who would even want him anymore? Those allegations are creepy and weird and the Texans are asking a RIDICULOUS price. -

Red Zone makes the NFL watchable. I switched to Red Zone after the 3rd quarter when it was obvious the Panthers were not scoring another point -
Very Discouraged By Rhule and His Comments After the Game
hepcat replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I said this in another thread but I really don’t give a sh*t what he has to say, or any of the players or coaches or management. They all need to shut up and just focus on winning the next game. All this playoff talk and fanfare around trades needs to stop. No more glowing PR from the team. Just shut up and win. -
Same old naive optimism thread after another familiar nauseating panthers loss lol. Thanks for making it though, we need that balance or we’d all kill each other.

At least Richardson’s squads had some success. There’s a very real chance this team doesn’t make the playoffs this decade. -
What do we need to do to get back on track?

Probably wait until next season -
Sam missed throws even when he had a clean pocket. The O-Line sucks too. It’s all garbage.
