Would quarterbacks avoid Carolina Panthers in NFL Draft?

Oh and refuse to lightly caress Nicole Tepper’s back during a hug. The cuck owner will explode. -
RUMOR: Bryce Young 'pissed' at being benched for Andy Dalton
hepcat replied to FutureDynasty's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m looking around for people who care that he is pissed -
How doesn’t he pass the eye test? And you’re saying because he had a good supporting cast that’s a detriment? CJ Stroud had Marvin Harrison Jr but he went balls out in the NFL. Ewers has one legit knock, he gets hurt. But he can play when he’s on the field. He’s a winner.

I don’t understand the the hate on Tepper for Bryce getting benched
hepcat replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was vocal for Stroud and posted many anti Bryce posts. The Texas v Alabama game in 2022 said it all for me. It looks exactly like the QB he is in the NFL -

If anything the bashing should be why wasn’t he benched last season? -

So the hate on him is that he is doing it too late? Well I agree, but the man has to learn sometime. We’re stuck with him. The whole point of my post is maybe, finally, he’s becoming humbled and that might bode well for our future. -
Look guys, I’m as big of a Tepper hater as you can find in the Panthers faithful. But the hate is truly getting out of control if he’s now being blamed for benching Bryce. To me it’s actually showing the accountability that Bryce was a mistake. Now of course Tepper is 100% the source of all these issues and we can bash him until the Earth spins into the sun, but bashing him for Bryce getting benched is just insane. It was the right move. Moving forward he can do a better job by not schmoozing with the potential draft picks and influencing his staff with who to pick. I’m not hopeful for the future at all but at the very least he’s been humbled by the past 6 years and maybe that will benefit us in the long term. That’s the only optimism I’ve got right now.

I will wholeheartedly disagree with everything you said. Quinn Ewers will be a good NFL QB. His only knock is his injury history. You gotta go watch the throws he can make and what he’s done under pressure. That’s the biggest thing that sets him apart. Bryce was always god awful under pressure and being blitzed in college and somehow that was overlooked coming into the NFL. Ewers doesn’t have that problem.

Man I hate that the falcons did something smart. Penix going to tear up the NFL in a year or two.

Bryce got benched, but the problem is still the problem
hepcat replied to CRA's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Dalton can play the whole year which I worry about given his age, the Panthers will definitely not be the worst team in the NFL. Dalton can win 5-6 games. But at what cost? He will give a jolt to the team and maybe get a few fans to come back, but there’s no hope right now. They’ve admitted Bryce is a bust. So what now? There’s never been a lower point in franchise history. -
Assuming it's done do you select a qb this year or wait?
hepcat replied to Panthero's topic in Carolina Panthers
You 100% draft a QB. If you don’t have a QB you’re the worst team in the NFL. Example - Panthers -
But to the point of the thread yes I like Quinn Ewers. I worry about his injury history.

Arch Manning and his family would NEVER EVER EVER allow him to play for the panthers
-
You can't play Bryce. He's not even throwing for 100 yards or any TDs. He won't make it out of the season alive.
-
Arch Manning will never be a Panther so get that out of your heads.
hepcat replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
With David Tepper as owner the panthers might set a record for most consecutive seasons as the worst team in the NFL. -
so I've got to ask.. is it worth it being a fan of this team?
hepcat replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
Due to other life obligations I haven’t watched more than 5 minutes of Panthers football this season including preseason. I’ve only caught a few highlights and a piece of the second quarter of the Saints game. In the end it’s just a game, a distraction, and it’s better to just focus your energy on your family and the things that bring you joy. No need to get upset. Yes, it’s terrible what this man from Pittsburgh has done to the team we all love but, in the end we have no control over it. He will continue to increase his net worth by shaking down the taxpayers to renovate the stadium and using it for soccer and other events. The Panthers are now just the league punching bag and that will not change until the current owner is long gone -

Well did you see some of the throws he made in that game? Yea it's bad teams and he has a looooong way to go in college, but he's got the talent and the pedigree. He just needs the experience. -

Ward could be a good fit on the Panthers. Ewers will be a very good QB in the NFL but he does have a legit injury prone issue. I also just don’t see him fitting with what Canales wants to do either. Ward might be the best fit for situation, and desire to play for a team like the Panthers. For some reason I see Ewers going to the Giants. -
If you guys think that the Manning family is going to allow Arch to ever put on a Panthers jersey you are dreaming. Ok maybe in some ironic sense that he’s wearing it to make fun of the worst organization in the NFL but no, he won’t be throwing passes for the Panthers in this timeline. Maybe in some alternate timeline where Ben Navarro bought the team and didn’t absolutely ruin it. Eli forced his hand to not play for the Chargers and in a few seasons when the Panthers have the #1 overall pick and opportunity to select Arch Manning (he’s not coming out this year) he would refuse to play for the team. I guarantee it. Arch might be his own person compared to his uncles and grandfather but he knows a losing situation when he sees one. We need to stop talking about him as a possibility. I 100% guarantee it never happens no matter how hard the Panthers try. The Manning’s would spend .05 seconds considering it. Tepper has truly ruined this franchise. I hope he knows how much the good people of the Carolinas despise him for ruining this once respectable franchise. He is not some good natured try hard man, he’s arrogant, brash, and rude. So it’s much easier to have that sentiment. Just sell the team and sail off on your yacht David. If you don’t have a yacht, you’re a billionaire why don’t you have a yacht?

I think Young needs a sports psychologist…..
hepcat replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
He is worse than Jimmy Clausen. That is hard to do. -
I think that’s a pretty safe assumption
-
They don't call deep throws because their QB can't see the receivers to throw deep. Bryce threw deep in college with a wish and a prayer because his receivers were so much more talented than the opposition.
