  1. It's also proving that Huddlers have gotten to the point where they accept sub-mediocrity---hell, just bad, as normal.
  2. Bunch of coach-speak, but that's not a surprise.
  3. We were never going to get that for him in this offense. Yesterday didn't do the the any favors, so much so that some thought that he was not tradable. I knew that that was balderdash. So... Anyway...I am in the you-get-as-many-picks-as-you-can camp, and always have been. Sure, day 3 picks ate obviously not as valuable as day one and two picks on their face, but they can always be used to acquire unforeseen talent, or talent that may have some issues, or even be packaged to acquire other talent during the other rounds. That's not to say that you hold on to picks for dear life when other options become available elsewhere, but even picks in rounds 4-7 have their importance.
  4. I didn't have any doubt that Anderson would be gladly picked up. That's why I scoffed at Huddle posts expressing that sentiment. The perception of Robbie here vs around the league were at odds with one another. The Huddle bubble can warp your mind if you let it.
  5. We sure do have different perceptions regarding Robbie, I'll give you that. Just know, that I'm not the only person that has that take on the situation.
  6. You raise yours! He had a right to be upset. I'd rather have 11 guys that hate losing and let you know it than 11 who accept it with a smile and say nothing. Robbie has been the target of many posts in this forum that raise eyebrows from where I come from. I wish him well. Deal with it!
  7. Thank the heavens. Now I won't have to listen to suspect, stupid ass comments on the Huddle...Oh, wait!
  8. Now, who will the Huddle move on to next? I bet it's going to be a receiver...
  9. It would be difficult to root for this team if that charlatan ends up here.
  10. This is about the only sensible post in this thread.
  11. It' s indefensible, yet you have some attempting to tell me that it was an NFL-level game plan. That's something you might consider doing if you're down to your emergency QB, not a professional QB.
  12. Our defense is stunted by the offense, point blank and period. It has given the offense three pick-sixes I'm three weeks, has dealt with little rest and short fields, and it still has limited the opposition to point totals that would've allowed a credible offense to win.
  13. I have never thought Moore should be a WR1 on any team. That's just not who or what he is.
  14. Cancer, my ass. Robbie just isn't willing to accept losing with a smile.
  15. I am the person that generally likes to give a person time. Long time Huddlers know that. I was arguing for Wilks just a few days ago. I wasn't looking for anything but NFL-level coaching. I didn't see it.
  16. Though I agree fundamentally in most respects, yesterday was P.J. Walker's worse game by far. I'd say that his performance also speaks to coaching.
  17. Come on, dude. Like I said, I expected us to lose; what I didn't expect was for us to have three timeouts left, and just to mail it in for the half. Wilks is not some newb to the NFL. That course of action was unacceptable. You might lose, but you play to win. Trying to back your way into a win by putting the brakes on prematurely is not what credible coaches do, especially ones with their job on the line. You guys are trying to make my post ostensibly about winning. Look again. It's about the chicken-sh¡t coaching.
  18. Not really. Injuries are a part of the game. We've played without Horn and Luvu before, as well as others. The defense would probably look a lot better if the offense wasn't dog poo.
  19. Hell, I can accept losing. I expected us to lose. What I didn't expect is to stop the opposition, have roughly 90 seconds (or whatever it was) three timeouts, but let the clock expire, when the opposition---defending champion--gets the ball first in the second half. Hell, even if you were getting the ball first, you STILL try to score.
  20. Not even about that. Wilks has been in the NFL long enough to not play to lose. This was P.J. Walker's worst performance. I wonder why...
  21. It really says it all. It was that bad.
  22. My son was like, "Why aren't we calling a time out?" He said that on the Rams third and long. I replied, "Because if we stop them we can use our three timeouts to go down and try to score." I FULLY expected us to do the normal, sensical thing that coaches do. Man, my mouth about fell open when we took the pus-err "conservative" route.
  23. He might as well for all the good that the guy has done. Honestly, it probably doesn't matter. Deep down in our hearts, we all know that this season is spiraling down the drain. A wasted season!
