  1. I would argue that they'll thrive regardless. Some even thrive amid a corps of other nice pass catchers like Hill, Cooper, Evans and others. You can try and attribute it all to QBs, but I say it's more about route running, getting open and making yourself a consistent target.
  2. Teddy was so bad in so many ways! It was masked by hollow mediocrity that appeared good on the outer layer, but Teddy just wasn't getting it done.
  3. Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, Nuk Hopkins, Julio Jones, Michael Thomas, Stefon Diggs, D.K. Metcalf, A.J. Brown, Mike Evans, Calvin Ridley, Amari Cooper, Allen Robinson. Adam Thielen, Keenan Allen and Tyreek Hill. There may be a few others that I might consider in his same tier who may end up better or worse.
  4. I think that he is likely to get that 5th year option, but it may depend upon who we get in the draft. Some of you are overly emotional pertaining to Moore IMO, but I've been saying that he has been a "good" not "great" receiver for a while now. I think 2021 will go a long way to determining where he'll be placed on the WR totem pole from not only from the Panthers' perspective, but the entire NFL in general. Either he will rise into the top tier, or he'll be regarded as a good receiver who has hit his ceiling.
  5. Come on, man. I'm just a po black nigga trying to make it. That don't include PSLs. It's all good though. I'm drunker than a motherfuger. Good.times and good vibes tonight!
  6. Boring! And, yes, I'm hating a little bit...
  7. Talk shop! Seats, location, sun, shade, parking, price, what's included, what's not and what nots...
  8. I think there's a lot of truth here, but I will say something that may not be popular. I think Cam was a good QB that had could have been great. The GM never did enough to protect his blind side, but Cam never did enough to consistently fix his weaknesses as far as inconsistent mechanics, holding on to the ball too long, and simply consistent solid decision making. I don't know how much of the blame goes to the GM and unimaginative, old school OCs and an an HC, and how much of the blame was Cam's. But, it was a combination. Hell, they even drafted twin towers to help Cam out, but then they never got him an exclamation point at LT. Cam had great moments here--piercing that skin of the elite, but he never completely punched through. And, he is running out of time to get it done. I think this season will be his last opportunity (and I am rooting for him, unless we somehow get in the way). I say all this because Luke was truly a great MLB. His elite play and consistency was rock solid! I think Luke was a greater LB than Cam has been a QB. I will admit that it's more difficult to be a great QB, but I don't believe that Cam and Luke should always be necessarily linked as the the main reasons why we were semi-successful during the Rivera era. I believe that Cam was an imperfect cracked wooden crutch that also held us back in some respects, while Luke was made of strong aluminum alloy that we could always depend on to get the job done. Just an observation and attempt at an objective opinion based over a period of time. It's my take and I'm sticking to it.
  9. You shouldn't think of Pitts as just a TE--a plain one at that--because his skill set is that of a sure-handed WR with a wonderful catch radius due to his outstanding athleticism. He is the epitome of a matchup nightmare. And I don't believe we'll pass on him if he's there.
  10. Well, like I've said: there's really no desperation going on. They're just taking calculated swing (which doesn't necessarily stop at Darnold, if the right QB prospect falls). And honestly, I don't mind it one bit. They're hellbent on finding a franchise QB, and I can't blame them. They're also not going to give the farm away in that quest because we are still squarely in the middle of a rebuild, and it makes little sense to give up too much prized draft capital in a year that looks promising at areas if need. Next year, we'll presumably have less holes, and due to Fitt's proclivity to trade back, we may be able to get some of those picks back.
  11. Fields or Lance or trade down. Not a terrible scenario.
  12. Fields or Lance or trade down. Not a terrible scenario.
  13. Pueblo gets a bad rap due to basically one part of town (East Side). Yeah, there's some crime and gang activity, but if you leave the chulos alone, then they leave you alone. Thankfully though, If I go, I will likely be in either Pueblo West, or just right before it in west Pueblo. I will say that I'm not a stranger to the 'hood, so areas with a little character don't rattle me.
  14. Put Lance on OSU, and the video game would've been just as interesting. Perhaps even moreso.
  15. The Front Range extends from Pueblo, Colorado to Cheyenne, Wyoming. On an off note, I got a friend who just moved to Pueblo and is trying to get me to move out there. If I do go there, I'm going to be one of the few Panthers fans. Sunday Ticket will become a staple of life.
  16. You see the thing about Pitts is that he is absolutely a matchup nightmare in the truest sense of the word. I can't emphasize that enough. He's the kind of guy that will likely have to be doubled a marked percentage of the time. Otherwise he's going to go off. With credible receivers and a legit versatile threat at RB, the addition of Pitts makes an offense damned near unstoppable. With any semblance of effective QB play, the sky is the limit.
  17. That's so true, but he was blown up because of the line, and that should be their priority. Cinci would be making a Jerry Jones move if they pick Chase!
  18. I don't think it's unrealistic to expect a starter in the second round in general, much less the top of the second or end of the first. When people say it's a "deep draft" at a particular position, they are talking about guys who have a good shot at turning into starters.
  19. I really think some teams put themselves in a position to get the BPA. That's ostensibly what we're doing (including why we acquired Incrediboy). I would love to see Sewell, Pitts, Fields and Chase on the board when we pick.

  21. As much as I like Pitts, if Chase is there (which is more likely if Sewell is gone), I'm taking Chase all day long, and not looking back!
