Sebnteen sacks. You always want a guy who closes the deal as a pass rusher. He can play the run. Good tape not just a Senior Bowl rep. Those UGA edge guys Walker and Williams or whatever they are(they don’t have a position) suck. Take the guys with the sack numbers and the athleticism.

Doesn’t get talked about enough on here. Probably doesn’t make it out of Round 2.

He’s got good tape. He’s small, didn’t go to a big school and only has 1 year of high level production. Still if he had a red helmet with a G or A on it he’d be a sure fire top 10 guy. I’m warming up to him as our pick as well.

A lot of talent in this draft. You just don’t have 5 first round OT, or QB like you do sometimes. High level outside WR ain’t there at all besides TMac, but some skilled slot guys. The BIG pass rusher 4-3 ends aren’t there either. No Peppers or Garrett types. Flip side is your 4th round TE and LB are a hell of a lot better than Ian Thomas and Trevin Wallace tho. Plenty of big strong guys that can anchor on DL. Good 3-4 edge types that can rush. Big, solid RBs should be available the whole time. Rounds 2-4 look damn good to me compared to recent drafts.

Likely a botched surgery or rehab issue before he got here. It shouldn’t have taken 12 months to be on the field. Something went wrong and likely early on

Jay Toia from UCLA at Nose is a guy who doesn’t have a lot of buzz, but fits the role of run stopper. But watch his MLB Carson Schwesinger get to the ball carrier. I want both. Should be round 3-4 guys. Schwesinger could go as high as the 2nd tho. The 5 tech is a tough position to project. You need a guy with length, heft, and a balance of pass rush and run stuff skills. Rylie Mills another mid rounder that I like for the 5 tech spot. It’s a good draft in the mid rounds for run stopping DL and there’s a couple good true middle backers in there.

“This draft is weak” comments happen every year. It’s always going to better next year until next year comes around.

Cam said directly out the horses mouth his shoulder was never right after he made a diving tackle attempt after an INT against the Chargers. Play was a perfect example of Benjamin being a fat and lazy POS.

That shoulder was cooked on a tackle attempt made by Cam after an INT on a KB give up play. Was against the Chargers. The Watt hit may have exacerbated tho.

I like TMac or Hunter. This team really needs an inside backer, but this draft isn’t great for that. I do like LB Carson Schwesinger if he comes out for round 2. He’s the real tackling machine and we need a volume tackler. Mason Graham is great, but for a top 5 pick it’s meh because the DL are not the playmakers in this scheme. You can find 3-4 ends on the scrap heap to plug the line, he gives you an added element because his hands and strength are elite for shedding. I don’t think he’s big enough for nose.

12 months is a long time for an ACL rehab in 2024. Something likely happened in that surgery or recovery that was always going to lead here. Pull a Thomas Davis and have them make that poo out of patellar this time.

I’m not sold on Stroud. He’s had some Bryce esque games this year. A Bryce Young led Panthers team beat this man last year. I know he led them to the playoffs and had a good Rookie season, but Sam Bradford and Vince Young were once ROY as well. Jury still out for me.

Thomas Brown has never really been an OC anywhere. He’s never put together an offense or called plays. He’s someone you hire as a scapegoat only.

Lost to Bryce. This motherfuger ain’t it. Left out Lawrence too. The motherfugers aren’t it.

There is risk at every pick. Safe ones bust all the time too. My point being, no QB in the last 4 drafts aside from Daniels has panned out as a sure fire hit. We can’t assume 26 and 27 QB will be any better. Cam Ward and Sanders elevate their teams and have a toolbox that Bryce doesn’t have. They have the confidence you want as well. If the staff is convicted on either they have to go with it. If not then fine. I don’t agree with forcing it, but I also don’t agree with assuming Patrick Mahomes Jr falls in our laps next year.

I don’t get this “mediocre” QB class talk. Who is to say 2026 or 27 Draft is any better? The last good QB class was 2020. The only sure hit since is Daniels. Y’all are some smartest guys in the room projecting will be until it’s that time.

Missed Chuba to ice the game. Easy throw. Didn’t give Coker a chance on a deep ball. He just ain’t got the arm talent. Now…I do have one praise, his throw to David Moore in the red zone was perfect everything with really good coverage.

I don’t know how good he is. We haven’t had the players to set the edge since Rivera was on the sideline. It’s fundamentally the most important part of defense from peewee all the way up. Reddick and Burns were washout city vs. the run. New guys can neither hold the edge or get home on the rush. Clowney and Wonnum combo of TODAY did ok in their first game together I guess.

I’d never root for the team to lose at this point in the season. You cannot evaluate your team in non competitive games.

They ain’t calling that poo nor should they. Stupid rule. They’ve been looking the other way all year.

What makes your think when we have another chance to pick a new young QB they are going to be any good? We just had to pick between Bryce, Stroud, Richardson, and Levis. The year before the first QB was Pickett. It’s always next years QB class until it’s not. You can’t be big brain about QB selections. If you think a guy is Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow or Allen, you take them. Cam Ward, to me, has very few flaws. He could be 2 inches taller and on occasion throws some of the worst picks you’ve ever saw….But it’s because he’s the anti Bryce, the dude really believes he can make the throw. When he doesn’t, he immediately thinks he can make it the next time. No sulking, no dropping his arms. No kid poo.

He was fat as fug here last year. Literal fat stomach and jawl weight, had to be 40 pounds over what he was his last season in Baltimore. MF looked like he’d been training with Otah and Kelvin Benjamin. He was an atrocious turnstile last year. Center getting beat directly off the snap is the worst pressure there is. Body is looking wayyyy better in San Diego this year tho. Too many Bojangles and bbq joints around here for Bozeman.

I don’t think you read your own words. We ended up with Bryce and the Steelers ended up with Pickett because they were poor QB drafts. Back to Back drafts at that. You can’t assume to build your roster for your QB and then manage to have a high pick in a good QB draft. 22 and 23 were poo. If you think Ward or Sanders has it then you pull the trigger.
