I don't think our draft choices were the big problem. In fact I think going all in one side of the ball in a draft can pay off because you end up developing a unit of the team that becomes dominant and masks a lot of the flaws elsewhere. I don't think our selections are necessarily the problem at this point. Guys that looked good last year look bad now. The defense was on fire at the start of the season and they now they are getting pushed around. Just seems like a coaching and motivation issue. That said we have clearly ignored the offensive line so I'm not justifying that, but we've been ignoring o-line since 2015 honestly.

Honestly just want to see Cam ball out.

It’s worse because this team should be better than where Rivera was at the time. The overall weapons, secondary and pass rush should be on par or better. The strong start and collapse is also worse and not indicative of progress. Rivera basically just relied on Cam to save him once he realized he had an automatic short yardage machine and the GOAT MLB being his on field DC for him.

Im not sure why Rhule was such a hot prospect for us to begin with. His record isn't that great.

Jake was most definitely treated like a franchise QB after 03/04. And he was resigned like one too.

He'll be another cast off that becomes an elite player for another team.

Or even stand up to the officiating crews for looking the other way when Cam was being headhunted.

Typical ignorant dumbass post judging Cam for being an unabashedly black and confident QB with a running QB skillset. PJ Walker threw a pick on his first series this game. The entire team is ass. The o line can’t block. And either WRs can’t get open or they aren’t running routes that maximize their skillset . I bet you never accused Delhomme of not being a pocket passer or not reading the field after costing this team two years of the most talented roster this franchise ever fielded .

That’s entirely possible but I think Rhule has shown he’s out of his depth at this point. Falling on your sword to sign Cam was on one end humble and smart, and on the other admission that you have squandered this teams QB position the last 2 years. He has shown no ability to control this defenses effort and he has no way of getting this o line to gel. I honestly like his draft picks but he just seems like someone who can’t recover once he loses momentum. This team does lack talent in some vital areas but we are losing because of poor coaching and uninspired play. We shouldn’t be a highlight reel for the opposing team every week no matter who we put out there.

You start Cam obviously and I don’t think Tepper would allow anything else honestly. PJ throws a pick his first series. The problem isn’t QB.

So he has a bad game after two good ones. Every positive play today was negated by a penalty. WRs are not getting open. But the f150s are coming out today for what was a terrible team performance.
