  1. If you want to stop him from celebrating, don't allow him to score.
  2. Never even turned his head. Granted Moton looked like he was on ice being pushed back into him in another half second. Could have very well thought he didn't have time and tried to force it. Should have put it up out of reach.
  3. Chud. He wasn't afraid to get a little crazy with the offense and right now, I'd like a little crazy.
  4. I blame Sam for making bad decisions. But I don't just put those decisions in a bubble. Sam was getting tremendous pressure yesterday. That video looked like Sam didn't go through his progressions to see Thomas standing wide open. Now I have to ask myself why. 47% pressure is a good reason. I know he had a clean pocket, but man, if it's collapsing on you every other play, you have to ask yourself, can you really trust Paradis, Miller or Daley to hold a block? And we all know you can't. So my thought is this. Give him some time to actually get a little comfortable in that pocket and then judge him for his overall performance. Did he make some bone headed plays yesterday. You bet your ass he did. Does he need to do better? Absolutely. In NY he basically was told pass here, don't adjust, just do what I tell you to do. It was a miserable failure. Now 5 games into trying to learn how to actually be an NFL QB he's making bad throws. It's going to happen. If he doesn't get his poo together, we are going to need to move on. After 5 games, I'm not there yet, but it's going to be a short leash.
  5. Sad thing is Hurney didn't read the Huddle or else he wouldn't have whiffed so bad with Little and Grier. If he had, he might have actually learned something from everyone pointing out the red flags on Paradis and the depth of IOL in that class. If I remember right there was a whole discussion about Grier being the pick at 100 a month before the draft.
  6. He's seeing ghosts and rightfully so. Our interior oline is atrocious. 43% of snaps under pressure is ridiculous. When things are constantly going wrong its hard to settle down on the occasions when it does go right. Just about every other snap he knew was going to go badly. I guarantee that's in his head right now. He's playing jumpy and anxious and with damn good reason. He has to get better when he has time. He has to stop forcing the pass and staring down his receiver. He's got stuff he has to fix. If we don't so something with the interior of this line there is going to be no fixing that. And if we do draft a new QB and it's more of the same, we're going to ruin that QB too. It's time for some changes and Miller and Daley should be at the top of that list. I'd include Paradis but there's nobody available to replace him that isn't potentially worse or would have to be signed from another team's PS. The Patriots do have a center on theirs that looked good during preseason but that's 3 games on the active roster for a flyer.
  7. Without improvement to Miller, Paradis and Daley all those positives just aren't going to mean much unfortunately
  8. We need a center. It all starts there and Paradis is as bad a center as Byron Bell was a LT.
  9. Week 10-12 and he's still doing the same thing, then yeah, I'll agree with you. I'm just not there yet watching the interior of this line and I don't know wtf Brady is doing.
  10. TB played afraid. He would rarely throw beyond a check down. I'm not saying he isn't without his faults and he hadn't looked good today. I'm just saying he needs more than 5 games in this offense to be crowned a failure.
  11. It's not automatic when you can't get a rhythm. The interior of this line is the worst I can ever remember the Panthers fielding. Hurney poo the bed in 2019 with the Little and Grier picks. McCoy was the obvious pick but we chose to ride with Paradis.
  12. 5 games into the season on a new team with a new OC and an oline that can't block in the middle. He needs some time.
  13. Deonte could block better laying down and taking a nap.
  14. I really hope Darnold balls out this year and someone gives Brady his first HC job.
  15. I didn't necessarily not want Erving or Elfein, I just hoped wed have better options.
  16. Darnold seems to do better on the quick reads is my thought. Get it going quick and get his confidence going before dropping a 50 yd bomb to Robby.
  17. Or the opposing DC has made adjustments and it's taking him some time to figure it out. Personally I think we should start the 3rd on a hurry up offense to get him going
  18. Finding guys that can go from college to the pro level is getting harder and harder. I really think they need a developmental league outside of college that can help players develop into NFL capable players.
  19. Not true. Gentleman was very aggressive trying to hike his shorts up to his neck.
  20. Carson Green from the Texans practice squad looks interesting but not sure I'd want to have to put him on the 53 right away. He's a tackle but I'd he could play guard it could be worth looking into. Another would be James Ferentz from NE. He's played guard and center with a couple of starts but again, that 53 roster requirement is a bitch.
