  1. The only real reason I can think of is we need to know what we have for next season and Frank isn't helping anyone. Throw away this pitiful offense and try something else. If these guys suck still, let em walk.
  2. The worst part about a lot of these is they were called out when they happened. It's one thing to have hindsight once in a while, but when you look at it as a fan and the majority of the time, you were right, it's just frustrating and sickening.
  3. The most disturbing thing to me was the panic move to trade up for MC and DJ Johnson being almost identical. Fitts panicked during the draft and admitted to doing so. That tells me 2 very problematic things. 1. He doesn't understand positional value with regards to picks and 2. He can't feel the flow of the draft. You need to be on the leading edge of positional runs, not the tail end. That's how you overpay and over draft players.
  4. It doesn't matter who's fired, the problem will still be here. When one of the 6 people conducting coaching interviews had to finish a class first, you're fugged.
  5. We already changed the scheme when Frank got here. If you look at what he's run his entire career it's everything this line is not built to do. This shouldn't be a surprise.
  6. But someone with NFL exec experience can look at a coach like Frank and a roster like ours and see they aren't built for each other. Doing that would have made someone realize trading so many picks and DJ away would make it extremely difficult to rebuild a roster to fit that offensive scheme. At that point they should have seen BY wasn't ready to be dropped in as a plug and play QB. That's the difference between Tepper and an NFL exec.
  7. I dont think the Huddle hates Frank. I hate this offense and the position his poor decisions have put us in. 200 years of NFL experience has made him and this staff stuck in their ways.
  8. We had our choice of all the LTs. We just chose the one that was the least ready for pass pro.
  9. Firing Reich and bringing back Rhule would be about the most Panthers thing ever. So odds are 50-50.
  10. It's been said a lot this year already about poor scheme fit for some of these guys, but how the coaches haven't addressed it is mind boggling. 3 of 5 and the entire blind side are not strong in that scheme so it makes perfect sense to use it.
  11. Our identity is a billionaire's plaything until he and his wife get tired of it and move on to something else.
  12. I'm not so sure he was the #1 by even a majority. If he was the next incarnation of Manning that everyone was touting, there would have been a lot more teams trying to trade up. The talking heads got hung up on that s2 score after Mr Irrelevant almost led the 9ers to a SB. Stroud was ahead on a lot of boards until the results of that test were released.
  13. Nicole is taking an online class right now on how to be a HC in the NFL.
  14. It's a pointless argument. They could be screaming there's no such thing as water while getting blasted from a fire hose.
  15. My choice was stay at 9 and take AR, but once we moved to 1 it needed to be CJ. Reich was still the wrong choice as HC. I really wanted Steichen for offense or Ryans, if we went defensive HC.
  16. There's been several people on this message board that have been right more often on major decisions than the front office, and it was all called when it happened.
  17. Why would you run hospital routes? The defense knows exactly where you're going to be and take your head off with a full head of steam. Bad career decision.
  18. Higgins is hurt again. Another soft tissue injury. He seems to be hurt an awful lot for a guy who's going to be wanting WR1 money.
  19. Single game team sack record is 14. Does Dallas break that by halftime?
