  1. Against college level players when Bama is heads and shoulders a over other teams with talent. What he did at Bama means poo. I'd rather have Jake Browing even with the pick 6.
  2. Playing the Saints D in FF tomorrow. Seemed like a good idea.
  3. Dalton needs to start. We need to know what we have in Mingo and any other WR that might give a damn. Part of me thinks it might help the oline play better with a QB who knows more about what NFL defenses are going to do and also isn't going to go down if a defensive player gets a mitt on him.
  4. It will be interesting to see what happens when Johnson and Slowik get their shots at HC.
  5. Having an offensive minded HC allows you to not have to replace your OC constantly when good ones are hired away to be HCs. Offensive or defensive HC, you still need to have some kind of team identity and plan to make it happen. Right now we're a clusterfug.
  6. The team needs a direction, a bedrock principal to stand on. Everything needs to be based on that. And it needs to be followed regardless of who walks in the door. Right now, it's whatever whim happens to strike. That's why keep pounding has meant so much to so many fans. We understand what it means, what it embodies. It's everything you have, every day. Fans gave, players gave. You could see it in certain players more than others. When you think of Keep Pounding, names like Sam, Cam, TD, Luke, Beason, Olsen, Kalil, Smitty, and so on, come to mind immediately. There's very little, if any of that present in the leadership of this team and its something this franchise needs desperately. I love what keep pounding represents. But for this franchise, I think accountability needs to be the focus. Be accountable for your decisions, as well as the results. It starts at the top. Here's looking at you Dave.
  7. "And this is what I'm going to do to the hearts of Panthers fans everywhere." - Dave
  8. As to the first 2 questions, there's no way to know. I'm not even sure what that even remotely has to do with the topic. It's an absolutely justified question to ask why is she in the room. What qualifications does she have to would make her the appropriate choice vs the hundreds of thousands of other female executives in the work place? It's usually very easy to find the work history and experience of women in that powerful of a position. Nicole has none that we have seen. The quote says her input has been key in making several of the right decisions. We'll at 1-10 with the HC fired, our traded for QB looking atrocious, and nearly every other decision looking like the wrong one, I'd say there is no reason to believe that she has any business being in that room. Dave can include her all he wants to, but he hasn't shown he should be making those decisions either.
  9. So we're now making football decisions based on women's intuition. I don't even...
  10. We are in fact one move away. When the for sale sign goes up, Dave finally made the right move.
  11. He was hit sideways. Your neck can't absorb the impact nearly as well as it can front to back. Know someone that had a TBI that caused some memory issues and they haven't resolved 7 years later. Brain injuries are no joke.
  12. Think of how much we could have done if we had traded Burns, stayed at 9, and gone into this year's draft with 4 1sts in the next 2 years.
  13. Letting Tepper buy the Panthers feels like a fug you from the NFL for what happened in 2015.
  14. Would the number of fans that attended this game be higher or lower than the combined score?
  15. You can have grass and still have a system design to cover the turf that won't damage it. Is it likely to be a pain? Yes. But it's doable.
  16. For some of these guys, this may be their first and only shot at being a HC in the NFL depending on how it turns out. How many of them are going to be willing to put everything they've worked their life for, and their future, on the line given the track record of Dave Tepper with coaches. The money is great and can be life changing, but do you take a single 100m payday, or maybe a 80m somewhere else but actually have a future in the NFL for the next 25 years.
  17. Already seeing articles that Poles has pulled off one of the greatest trades in NFL history. We did it all right.
  18. Not sure what that has to do with Bryce since I don't follow baseball at all, but Allen escaping the JJ Watt sack was far more exciting than anything we've seen from Bryce this year.
  19. By that logic Young should have out performed Kyle Allen at a bare minimum since no one had seen him play an NFL game. Talent and ability matter.
  20. The biggest benefit to a team president is to pick the right GM. It also potentially opens the door to a wider tree for scouts, finances and contracts, front office people. Of course none of this really matters if Fitts stays. I don't trust the Teppers to keep their nose out of any of it far enough to not significantly interfere with building at least a mediocre franchise.
  21. Beginning of the season before we selected a HC. I legitimately thought we were going to take a shot at Steichen, Johnson, or Ryans. But we hired Frank and my dreams were crushed.
