Henry is also 29. That's RB 30 wall is right around the corner. No need to pay big money for that.
-
Yeah. Henry is the RB version of a rental car thrown into reverse at 50mph just to see what happens.

Saints Sign Derek Carr to 4 year deal.

The only thing about blowing it up is the entire NFCS is blown up right now. They could blow it all to hell and still win the division and still fug themselves. This is much more entertaining. -

Traded it to the Eagles last year. -
(Non-QB) Player You Want the Most in the Draft
SmokinwithWilly replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we can't get one of the QBs because the price is just too damn high, I wouldn't mind trading down into the teens if possible, securing Mayer, and grabbing an extra 2nd(s). I'd be happy to come out of the draft with 2 of the top 3 TE. DJ, TMJ, 2 TE and a pass catching back could cause a lot of issues, even if we only have a Brissett like QB. -

Not really. You always go into negotiations knowing where your limits are to start with. If you go past that, you fug yourself. You have to be willing to walk away. If you aren't, it's not negotiation, it's desperation. We've already seen what happens with that. Being the only suitor for Darnold with our starter being PJ Walker. -

This will finally blow up when Loomis retires. Dude is a cap manipulation god. Until then, it just is what it is. -
This feels like a kick in the groin. Whether or not I agreed with him, at least he provided some challenging thought, a rarity in "journalism" these days.

Not where I hoped he would land. There are some QB needy teams in front of us that would have made much more sense, from a Panthers perspective anyway.

You were saying in another thread the Ravens were mean and taking advantage of his mom. This just looks like another misstep by his "camp." He's put himself in a terrible position and using SAS as a mouthpiece doesn't really lend itself to more credibility than DeMaurice Smith. He really should have looked at the Josh Norman situation.

Unless we have an absolute 100% in place plan of how to develop "our guy", then the price Chicago is asking is too high. You don't give up those type of resources unless you have a massive development plan in place. No tossing a guy out there and seeing what sticks aka Justin Fields. We have the braintrust to get it done. Whether there is a guy they think can get there remains to be seen.

They won't necessarily take pay cuts, but don't expect Burrow to continue playing with Chase, Higgins and Boyd. They will all need to be paid as well. Chase will be one of the highest paid WRs and Higgins won't be far behind.

Anybody else think the firehouse chili might have been a bad idea?
