  1. Some of our losses would have been less painful if we had just forfeited because of Covid.
  2. Gives you that same level of disappointment when you realize she's wearing a padded bra.
  3. Right, but I expect he'll get paid well enough to net us a 3rd, as long as we don't waste it on another reclamation project.
  4. The Darnold deal looks like total ass. The only saving grace is the Jets got 3 picks but won't know how to use them anyway. The 5th year option has that feeling of waking up next to the waffle house waitress after one too many mad dog 20/20s and a dare from your now former buddies. Henderson makes sense in some respects. 3rd round pick for a guy still on his rookie deal. DJax has gotten torched the past couple of weeks and Henderson can give us the chance to get a CB of equal caliber for less money and we get a 3rd rd comp back for Djax contract if we let him walk. I can't criticize Gilmore too much because we likely just traded a 6th for a 5th comp.
  5. If Sam is back next year with a new HC, I don't see what it hurts to keep him. His salary is guaranteed. Maybe another coach could make him into a backup qb for a year. He only plays if something goes wrong.
  6. Thankful we have an active message board full of loyal fans that are always positive and cheerful. We're not always perfect, except for me of course, but it's nice to be able to talk some Panthers football. Happy holidays to all of you.
  7. Because we gave up a 6th for him and no matter how he plays, his next contract if it isn't from us will net us a 5th round comp pick. Either we get a big win with him playing great this year for a 6th, or we get a minor win in the draft and move up a few spots.
  8. Right now, Miami is the least of this teams concerns
  9. Rivera's player evaluation always scared me. Rhiule's scare me more.
  10. I always felt part of how the league treated him was based on his appearance. Brady, Manning, Rodgers, Wilson, these guys were the image the NFL wanted. Cam has always marched to the beat of his own drum. I don't think that always sat well with the commish or some of the owners and they rewarded him. He represented the younger generation, that's why he wasn't old enough to get the call.
  11. While last night was a shutout, I was really hoping for the Pats to win 28-3. I would have preferred a 0-0 tie but...
  12. The signed a FA that Rivera never knew how to use. Can't really say they overpaid when they bought a Vette to drive like a station wagon.
  13. What happens if we stick him on the practice squad? No roster space but the only question is if someone signed him would they be responsible for his salary or would we?
  14. What if we didn't say 2021 is better but still have some of that dank sheeeeet.
  15. Just think how much better that average would be if Darnold could have actually led the offense on some scoring drives instead of turning the ball over.
  16. I'm not ready to go that far yet but it sure feels good to have Cam back in the building. Now if there was only some way to summon a Norse God of thunder...
  17. Paradis has been Matt Kalil horrible. But what makes it worse is we've ignored some really good centers in the draft to keep captain turnstile. It's just sickening.
  18. Normally I'd cheer but I'm playing against Zeke and Dak in my fantasy league
  19. I'll be really happy with his contract if it makes that 2nd were giving up for Darnold closet to a 3rd than a 1st.
  20. If Cam plays well, sign him for 2 or 3 years, trade down with our first and use it to grab a C and a couple guards if a LT of quality isn't available.
