    also depends on what we do with Evero. At this point I think the Panthers would be best served just promoting him to HC and letting him pick a new GM. a new defensive HC/defensive coordinator might not feel like Burns is a priority for his defense for whatever reason.

    Burns is going to want a contract his play this year doesn't dictate simply because we turned down two first rounders for him. I get both arguments. Between the three, you priority Brown and Luvu over Burns.

    it's amazing how fast things have changed re: burns and brown i would like to remind all you fugers that i was on the brown train before ANYONE!     Panthers traded for the first on March 10th. Lamar was extended in April, and the demands had been known for months. We knew everything we needed to know at the time and decided to nuke the team to draft a midget who Nicole didn’t feel threatened by at dinner.

    How can you say this knowing what the panthers did with two first rounders? If you wouldn’t give up a 2025 first to upgrade to Lamar from the Lollipop Guild I don’t know what to tell you.

    Yep. First: plenty of teams were in on Deshaun Watson who hadn’t played in basically two years. Rodgers was falling apart when the jets traded for him. second: so? Force their hand. If you really believe the ravens are going to match you lose nothing by making them do so. The panthers weren’t tied to a starter. There was no downside in attempting this.

    None of Bryce’s bad throws counted against him when it was the wr fault. WR were making circus catches yesterday so logically those catches shouldn’t count for Bryce either.

    Beason just wasn’t big enough to hold up. dream lineup would have been him accepting the switch to WLB but they did right by him. Situation worked out for everyone.

    overall i'd agree. Not when Beason was first drafted though.

    I mean, you pair him with either All Pro Jon Beason or All Pro Luke Kuechly. He was a great linebacker, one of the best panthers ever regardless of position, one of the best linebackers of his generation, and he was always the second best linebacker on the team. Shout out to us finally beating Vick when we drafted him to play safety.
