  1. I mean, we're returning all starters but Okung from the start of last year. 2020: Okung-Daley-Paradis-Miller-Moton 2021: Scott/Erving-Daley-Paradis-Miller-Moton (+Elf dude) And Scott did pretty well and is super young. If last year was an aberration for Daley, then we could be a-okay and this is without a draft that will no doubt add a tackle and/or guard to the group.
  2. I mean, to the point of the thread, it's not a good look. Just remove it. It's not political, he's not on the team, just remove it.
  3. What intrigues me is that he looks way more ripped/has a pro level body mass compared to Tyreke, Austin or Smitty coming out of school. Damn
  4. If Mayfield or Cosmi are there, that would be siiiick
  5. I want to see it because the more top QBs, the better...but I just don't. He gives me such sweet nothings. I've seen a lot of "he's not just an AJ McCarron", he can be more than let's say a Matt Cassell or whoever... "he wasn't just elevated by his talent", but then I'd expect something to pop. Especially with a pro day, you're looking for a guy who can really grab the room, fully drive the tempo of the session. He seemed prisoner to the moment...and looked like a 1950s gym teacher. That pro day did him no favors. I did not see what Chris Simms has been praising him for at all. There's definitely talent, but man, at 8? I'll trust em' if they get him, but it was just super underwhelming.
  6. Nice, I'm happy with this one at RG. He's better the the elf dude & Erving. He was our starting RG going into the year; wasn't bad by any means so we know what we get from him. Hopefully he's healthy this year.
  7. Don't sleep on Haynes; he's the forgotten man. He really came into his own last season and I hope he continues to get some solid playing time. I'm a bit more iffy with that other guy though who opted out.
  8. Well I do think it's time that the mods remove his picture in a Panthers jersey from the side panel. Not the smartest look at the moment.
  9. I'm a big fan of drafting a RB in the mid rounds this year. Trey Sermon could be a boss and I would be ecstatic for that type of pick. Kylin Hill is awesome. Larry Rountree, Demetric Felton (especially) as well.
  10. How hard is it? Didn't seem hard until the mid-session flip. Too soon?
  11. Yay I had a random dude I became a FA fan of that we signed. Woo! Is it the name? Because a signing of a 26 yo 6'6 220 TE that just had a 440 yd 4 td season as a second option is pretty solid from where we were.
  12. Um yeah, let's just stay away. Everything from every side of the Houston ordeals this offseason is toxic. That organization, the players, their reps, the hot shots in that town, that basketball team will probably get upset in the tourney too. Lance/Fields/Wilson it is.
  13. #8, this year's 4th, 2022 1st, 2024 1st Get Miami's 6R in return along w/#3
  14. This. If we don't have a QB going into the draft, we are drafting a QB round 1. There doesn't seem to be stopping Rhule & Fit from getting their new guy for Tepper. I think it's a trade up for Lance.
  15. I mean, the sex stuff aside-- Client solicitation is an ABA conduct violation. He marketed his own experience and background in his rambling posts while basically advertising the forthcoming lawsuits like it was a preview for a tv show. And now it looks more like him vs. Deshaun rather than the women he claims he represents. And now, he's glamorizing this and it's just unfortunate regardless of what really happened (which sounds like it could be bad news for Watson). Let's just get Lance haha
  16. When I feel underwhelmed about our offensive linemen signings, I look at what the Bears are doing and feel much better about our entire situation.
  17. I don't like the OL signings but I would be patient. It may have been odd being the first FA signings, but in stepping back, we're backfilling the line so that we can take BPA on the line in the draft. Not forcing ourselves to go guard, center or tackle. Though, left tackle is obviously preferred. If we stumble on a future center, Elflein takes more of a guard role, we could stumble on a new starting guard (or) two, then Elflein is the backup center, Erving becomes depth that can play LG or RG. Trent Scott performed pretty well so maybe he has an inside track for LT. I just find it interesting we're looking at flexibility over a starter investment at RG or LG. I think we're looking at something like this right now: LT: Scott/Little/Daley LG: Daley/Elflein/Erving Center: Paradis/Elflein/Tecklenberg RG: Erving/Elflein/Horton RT: Moton/Kaskey It ain't pretty by any means but it's a lot of new names, so, it's hard to judge. We are still in high need of an OT. I would look at the draft for at least one (with LT potential) and a G/C. It's actually quite a nice draft in the tackle class with many more than usual having the 6'4 300+, +34" arms measurables you look for. But going back to being pessimistic: If you combine the deals for Elflein & Erving, we could've given a 15 mil guaranteed 3 yr/~25 mil type contract to a much better guard UFA. Problem is we needed depth as much as a known commodity starter. Maybe we still sign a guy. Just odd we did Elflein & Erving first for how bad they've played and how injured they've been. The rest of the FA has been money.
