  1. I endorse a leaf rep option. It would also apply for @saX man threads.
  2. Larsen barely saw the field and had a contract like Elflein. Elflein is Larsen...Larsen is Elflein. Finkel is Einhorn Really think it’s clear we’re targeting OL in the draft
  3. The Watson/Wilson rumors have actually talked me into being the most comfortable with a slight trade up for Lance or Fields whether it's to #3 or #5. I'd prefer we have a deal with MIA set up going into the draft and get ourselves Lance for less without losing any players, 6-8 less years under his belt, and all the potential in the world. Package that with some weapons and linemen to round out the draft and we can go into the season with the usual void in the secondary lol.
  4. Is it odd that I want Trey more than him even though I agree that Wilson is the clear #2 pick? I just got a good feel with Lance for some reason. Think we could come out swinging with him on offense. Lance-CMC-Moore-Robbie, +some exciting rookie RB/WRs. That gets the juices flowing.
  5. This is all just weird as hell. Especially with it just being masseuses and a really clean history, the timing, the behavior of the lawyer. We live in weird times.
  6. We may be waiting for the next rush of signings to find the next value level. I've got my eye on Jaquiski Tartt S and/or Quinton Dunbar CB I think Corn is an RFA so maybe we bring him back, would actually really like to see him back. Offense wise: WR: Josh Reynolds
  7. That's been in line with what I'm thinking; I agree. R1: Lance R2/3/4 (one of these picks gone in the trade up): +Maybe that Cosmi guy from Texas; grab at least 1 T/G +There are WRs are to be had, good class Basically, if we can get Lance (who I think we're locked in on) and end up with only like 4 or 5 picks, just score just 2-3 impact guys on offense and I think it's not too bad. Call it a day. May be a rough year but it sets up 2022. I wouldn't discount some gadget-y RB later on and maybe a TE.
  8. I mean, we backfilled the OL to set up the draft. So if we don't do the Deshaun thing, we likely roll into the year with like Lance/Fields, Probs ~2 rookie OLs, a rookie WR, maybe a TE. Dare they go all offense after going all defense?
  9. Yeah it's a really interesting 5-2 front. I still anticipate a DB signing to help round out the 3-3-5 looks. The whole 4-3 or 3-4 thing is very fluid these days. Team's base defenses are played like 20% of the snaps. More nickel and hybrid looks than anything else and we've got an athletic batch.
  10. His very own actions are through the mold of a publicist and not an attorney. Courting the public opinion through reactive tweets/IG posts is how you don't succeed in the matter. I'm not giving Watson a pass here but this is an awful "lawyer". Hyping his own military experience and resume? WTF even is this?
  11. Now this is a batch of signings...our 335/hybrid is looking dope: Morgan Fox DE 6'3 276, good contributor on the Rams D Hasaan Reddick EDGE who found new life last year, that Rhule connection Denzel Perryman OLB with a mean streak (hopefully can get 12+ games for us) lol I mean, are we ready to trade for Deshaun now?!
  12. From the Rams right? He's been a really good piece on that defense. All offense draft upcoming???
  13. Publicly announcing a lawsuit against Watson, yet he hadn't filed a lawsuit. Deshaun may be able to have a defamation case built in no time depending on how this unravels. Seems like he's just trying to breathe it out into the ethos. I mean, if Deshaun asked for more inner thigh and she said no and then he didn't press any further, then I'm a bit confused to the whole misconduct here. Anyhoo, always shaky grounds to walk on in this territory, Ima peace from this thread ha.
  14. I'm not jumping to any conclusions but this reeks of slime. And given what we're seeing develop, it appears it could be ricocheting right back into his face.
  15. It's because he's a pure skeezball who's trying to make himself look closer than he is to the top brass of Houston area politics when he's really just a publicity lawyer and failed mayoral candidate.
  16. Trump megadonor, failed mayoral candidate, socialite, & "super" lawyer Tony Buzbee, neighbor of Cal McNair, pay-for-play fraudster, and the type of lawyer who buys billboards...yeahh...
  17. Interesting. When I worked in Del Mar/Solana Beach, would see him with his fam around every once and a while during offseasons. Honestly, seemed like a great dude which sucked bc I wanted to dislike the guy.
  18. I think the more interesting part of this is NYJ & MIA being off the list. I mean, we're not discounted in this scenario. So that actually opens up both spots for a trade up (as much many may not want it). That #2 could be mad interesting. It won't be as steep as Watson, maybe it just takes picks which honestly, I don't think is the end of the world. I dunno, just spitballing. Deshaun Watson coming would be insanely awesome, but yup, not really thinking it happens so I'll be ecstatic if it somehow does. 2: Zach Wilson, some OLs, & skill-position players could be dope 3-8: Fields (or) Trey Lance, some OLs, & skill-position players could be dope as well I don't think we really are trying to do anything else. Unless we can't get that to work bc of the other teams, then yeah, we may be fudged but I think Fields may be there at 8.
  19. But check out how many are still on the open market: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/all/guard/ I want to hear more than just "flexibility" in respect to why we targeted these two in particular. It seems very targeted when there's so much availability, and many starters at that.
  20. I don't like the fact that we're targeting these injury prone types. But in the same vein, I mean, you got to work with who's interested. I mean Matt Feiler LT/LG could've been absolutely ideal. He got a 3 year 21 mil deal from LAC. Was the Steelers LT, totally capable at LG. Fudge, Rick Wagner OT/G, LeRaven Clark OT/OG, are still sitting around unsigned. There's a crap ton of guards on the open market so I just find it interesting we targeted the two we did. Interested to hear what the team says enticed them so much about those two in particular (outside of being swing linemen, because there's plenty out there) Elsewhere, sucks we couldn't land Michael Davis at CB. He looked promising. So sounds like we're targeting some decent types. Maybe we're not as apperaling to play for as we thought being void of a QB. On the flipside, there's not many LBs signed at all yet and plenty of DBs left on the market. We'll see if we snag any that aren't made of glass haha.
  21. If that's your point then it's all a matter of perspective. They are what they are and we'll see how we use them, if even as starters (which isn't a given). If they suck, they suck but it ain't no thing but a chicken wing. I see us backfilling to leave the draft open to as many prospects as possible. Backfill via FA, build through the draft, maybe get 1-2 decent FA signings every year.
  22. Explain how fans on a message board can be "proactive" in respect to a team's FA decisions after they happen? You're reacting to things we can't control. The term proactive doesn't apply here.
  23. Fit and Rhule likely see otherwise so all you can do is trust their judgement at this point..or be reactive and complain. I much prefer the former. They seemed to have explicitly targeted these two for a reason. I think it's clear because they're swing lineman and it opens it up to draft wherever on the line BPA in the draft.
