  1. Does it feel like if we had a veteran and he could sit for a year or two he would be a great pick, but drafting him to compete with Bryce is a stretch? I really want the best G/C at 33.
  2. Hopefully they’re allowing Campen to interview elsewhere as well
  3. If he brings his dad to coach the o-line and Jake Browning to compete with Bryce, I’d be all in tbh.
  4. Or, you can hope he does some good hires this time and our division rivals mess it up. Now that would be much better. And let me know if I need to repeat that slower…
  5. Yup. Hoping we will fail for years just to be able to rub it in Tepper’s face is super weird.
  6. McCarthy is interesting. When I’ve seen him play I’ve never been that impressed. But instead of his surroundings helping him, maybe it has held him back? Maybe he could have done a lot more if asked to? Or maybe I’m just completely overthinking this?
  7. That what I thought as well, thanks for jumping in
  8. I thought they had an upgraded weight room etc. But my point is that he would promise to give them what they need. For Reich, as an example, there was no cap on spending on coaches.
  9. I’m curious about him essentially storming out from/taking his ball and going home from his last two jobs. Is he a difficult guy to work with?
  10. The best thing Tepper can do is to tell any HC candidate that money is not an issue, he will supply any resources they might need for success, such as facilities, equipment, staff etc. I think those things resonate well.
  11. Yeah the culture is huge red flag, no doubt, so I would stay away. A shame as they draft and acquire players so well.
  12. The Eagles have built a very talented roster, but currently have really bad coaching after both coordinators left last year. Your “… Using that logic you could argue for Brian Johnson…” argument is really poor. I’m personally not a fan of the org as a whole, but wow you are way off with that logic.
  13. I might be interested in him if he brings his dad along to coach the o-line and mentor him. Bill is a very good o-line coach.
  14. But if they both made it to the superbowl, would they really be overrated?
  15. I don’t think Tepper himself is as big of an issue for a new GM and HC as portrayed by media and fans. Majority of owners are “interesting” people and in general fairly hands on, especially when things are going bad.
  16. Agree, nobody on their current staff should be considered (outside the p-line coach, but he’s not going anywhere). The same goes for Dan Quinn. Don’t see the appeal in him at all. Cowboys defense beat up on bad teams and faltered against good opponents. Very overrated.
  17. Yes, makes a lot of sense. Will be very interesting to see if he takes the next step or not.
  18. I mean, the Dolphins have essentially been beating up on bad teams all year. The only good team they beat was the Cowboys (22-20). Whenever they play someone good they got nothing.
  19. I like Monken, but I reserve the right to change my opinion tomorrow
  20. Seeing Monken trending for Panthers (means nothing, probably because he interviewed today). He’s got a very interesting background. He’s led a lot of different offenses in the NFL and college, and they all seem to produce big numbers. Feels like a strong sleeper candidate.
  21. I don’t think that is enough. From what I understand you have to interview at least two external minority candidates. The only reason the could do it was mentioned above.
  22. Apparently you can write in to a contract that they are promised the position if the HC leaves, and that is what they did in his latest contract
