  1. T-Mac is what people thought Harrison would be last year. A fantastic pick for us.
  2. I’m all for Jameis. He’s matured a lot, still really goofy, but a strong vocal leader. He will no doubt create a ton of turnovers, but he’ll also give the offense a chance to develop our young talent. And we would have a chance in every game to score a lot.
  3. I would start scouting QBs for next years draft really close. And I would try to trade for Jameis Winston as the stop gap. It wouldn’t be pretty, but it sure would be entertaining. As a bonus, our young WRs and TEs would thrive.
  4. Fair question, and I don’t have an answer for you. I just keep watching games and opponents keep doing the same thing with no adjustments being made. And for sure last years squad was weak, no doubt. It just feels very predictable, and line up choices feel questionable at best. But that is my take from the couch.
  5. I’m far from an expert here, but is the system really fine? The inability to stop the run is a long standing thing with Evero. I have no faith in him or his system.
  6. Well it worked, he’s not the first GM doing that, so calling him out for that is really a stretch.
  7. Let’s remember that all of these QBs will have an additional 10 games or so played by the end of the season. So a lot of room for further development and growth. There is a lot of potential in this group imo.
  8. DC has a chance to make a point. Bench XL and start someone else, start Ransom at S, Mays at C etc. That sends the string signal that last week was unacceptable. He won’t, but that is the right move.
  9. This is really bad, disappointing to hear. Evero is terrible, and he’s being enabled by DC.
  10. We also have a really good rookie S. Watts would have gotten the same treatment, ie not starting over Nick Scott
  11. Thanks for sharing. This is fascinating stuff. I know some of us were hesitant with him due to his limited play within structure in college and the need to constantly relying on hero ball. But his lack of ownership and lack of work ethic is staggering.
  12. I just wonder if he will hold up in the NFL, he looks really thin and I don’t know how much beating he can take.
  13. Not sure why people are so upset with a second year player that looked great in camp starting. It’s not like we have a stellar ILB group. Nick Scott on the other hand is an example of starting an inferior player, and that is a terrible decision.
  14. He’s a second year player and Mike K from the Observer said he’s looked very good and had him as the defensive MVP of camp. So that is most likely why.
  15. Looking way ahead here, but I think 2026 will be a very strong LB draft. So this might be the year we get our new defensive leader. Arvell Reese from Ohio State has a chance to be special. All this assuming Bryce is our QB moving forward. Feel free to not derail the intended LB thread with QB stuff.
  16. No pass rush whatsoever, same old, same old…
  17. Agree with Allar looking like he has it all. But every time I saw him play last year it felt as if something was missing. Coming back for one more year was a good choice. Will be interesting to see if he takes the next step this year.
  18. Agree, looks like he’s putting everything he has into every throw. To be fair, it is not his fault that everyone puts this hype on him.
  19. It is definitely early, but throwing every pass as hard as you can and slightly off target is not a great look.
  20. I have to say, you might be one of maybe two people on earth who thinks this is similar to trading up for Bryce. But you are consistent, so I’ll give you props for that.
  21. Getting a fourth round pick and saving $7M is salary cap is more than fair for a 35 year old WR in his last year. This is really good compensation and a great job by Dan and team.
