Good point! Our run game has not been as on fire with Icky out. Not sure if that is personnel or teams loading TF out of the box and forcing Bryce to win with his arm.

I hope the poor guy has a full recovery, just not this week! Our big guys have been good at getter pressure lately, we just need them to finish with sacks. A rookie QB behind a PS RT is as good a formula as any to get that done.

I can't believe that no one has started a 2026 QB thread yet, at least not 1 that I've seen. I'm not much of a college football guy, but I've been digging around a little bit over the last few weeks, and it sounds like the consensus is that the top 3-4 guys 6 months ago have underperformed so far.

I got to this reality 4-5 weeks ago. It's been oddly liberating. Unfortunately, next season doesn't seem to be QB heavy, might have to get creative.

There was an article/video posted on here preseason discussing how defenses are evolving the safety position. I don't have the energy to Try to find it (I looked about 5 minutes before giving up). It was back when we were all freaking out about not having a real free safety on the team. I'm not smart enough to go into detail, but the gist was that DC got sick of giving up 400 yards a game and made changes. Hopefully someone out there is able to find it; good read/watch.

I'll eat crow on that one. I didn't think WR was the right pick. I loved Tmac, but thought WR at #8 was a reach. I was wrong. Scourton working out well as a round 2 pick helps.

We had a starting guard and an OLB that I had never heard of before and that was AFTER I looked them up! LOL

Rozeboom has played better since they handed the reigns over to Wallace. I tend to grade him on a curve because he was never supposed to be our starter. We need an upgrade in the worse way, but Rozeboom could still be a better than average backup. Was Evans even on the field yesterday? I honestly looked for him and don't recall hearing his name.

I think that this is his first season with the same o-line coach from the previous year. Goodwin / Gilbert have him hitting on all cylinders!

He earned it yesterday! Shut down the best defensive weapon in the league when every other lineman was a backup! Atta boy, Icky!
