I'll eat crow on that one. I didn't think WR was the right pick. I loved Tmac, but thought WR at #8 was a reach. I was wrong. Scourton working out well as a round 2 pick helps.

Rozeboom has played better since they handed the reigns over to Wallace. I tend to grade him on a curve because he was never supposed to be our starter. We need an upgrade in the worse way, but Rozeboom could still be a better than average backup. Was Evans even on the field yesterday? I honestly looked for him and don't recall hearing his name.

I think that this is his first season with the same o-line coach from the previous year. Goodwin / Gilbert have him hitting on all cylinders!

No one wants to be on record IF Bryce figures it all out. Plus Olsen has to remain somewhat impartial as an active announcer. As to the Tepper trash talk, I think he came into the league trying to swing his big brass balls around and quickly learned (I hope) that he'd do better and make more money by shutting TF up and letting the professionals make the decisions. Maybe not quickly enough, but I think he has stepped back some.

I agree that we overpaid, but and elated that he and Canales are starting to figure it out. I posted last week that I don't think that they're a good match for one another, hope they feed me a big ole plate of crow.

Got to throw TMac onto the kudos list! He's been good from day 1, but looks to be getting better every game, although that could just be he and Bryce getting into rhythm, as you said. 2 TD's and I love love love watching him block! Big man ain't afraid to hit!!

I rewatched the final, game winning drive yesterday and was looking for the perfect place to post this. Starting on the 4th and 5... Horn fights through a PI to catch a beautiful pass to keep the drive alive. Next play, they bring him in motion and run Etienne behind him with TMac and Tremayne both throwing nice blocks for him (2:10 on the clock). Next play, Evans for a TD! Fitzgerald for the PAT. First play on defense, Thornton has a hellova pass breakup! ALL ROOKIES! SEVERAL UDFA'S! The future of the franchise is in good hands! Edit: Tremayne is not a rookie, he came off Washington's PS. But since he was a UFA who never played, I'm counting him.
