I agree, but potential is the key word here. We have a new HC, a new OC, a new WR coach, a new passing game coordinator 3 new QB's, and 3 new WR's. Our 3 returning receivers; TMJ, Shenault and (maybe) Shi, had a whopping 28 receptions 490 yards 1 TD, 27 receptions 272 yards 1 TD, and 22 receptions 296 yards 2 TD's, respectively. Hard to imagine how it all will come together with having barely seen anyone play.

Wright might beat them all out for top PS guy and if he could return a punt, would push Byrd and Smith for a roster spot. Other than that omission (IMO), you're spot on. I wonder if we keep 7 this year.

Well said. I cringe every time I hear about batted balls when the o-line isn't allowed to block yet. Unfortunately, because of his size, it will be an ongoing narrative, even from our own reporters. And heaven help us if he ever so much as stubs his toe. The press will have a field day with that.

Worth a roster spot on ST's though. He was my bottom of the roster man-crush last year.

Derrick brown Deonte is a huge SOB also. He was "playing" D-line in a drill with Moton and Mays and dwarfed them.

I expect to see a lot of Young to Thielen completions this season! And a lot of Taylor slips in coverage, unfortunately.

I really like having Dalton as a backup. He had a really good career as a starter (other than always choking in the playoffs), and still has some juice in the tank if needed to step in and win a game here or there. We got him for 2 years for $10M, which is a bargain IMO. Hopefully Bryce and Corral will both learn plenty from him. I still hope he make Bryce tote his shoulder pads to practice though lol.

Maybe, but you can never have too much talent in the trenches. Personally, I don't get all the BC hate. I think he was solid playing beside a rookie LT and Eflein for the first 6 weeks. He sure passes the eyeball test; go back to the Ickey Film room thread and focus in on BC, he's playing lights out.
