  1. Can't really disagree with your logic, but I'd keep Thomas and Jackson unless we get a definite upgrade. Jackson is still our best CB right now and played with turf toe all last season. Undersized? Yes, but a good coverage guy. Thomas is a pretty good blocker, I can see him being more of a h-back and still contributing for cheap.
  2. Agree. At 39, there will be a starting LT, CB, FS or MLB if we need them, all on a cheap 4-year rookie deal.
  3. I don't know. After losing Manhertz and Armah, I could see Thomas filling more of the H-back role. Arnold won't be much of a blocker on running downs.
  4. Barbara and Dan both need to add a little weight IMO, but they both definitely offer positional value.
  5. I thought this thread was about this guy. I'm showing my age.
  6. didn't you ask him for a massage? Well it WAS blue jean Friday, and @Zod's feet hurt...
  7. Don't forget Carter did a good job at MLB last year as well when discussing depth. Haynes played well on limited snaps. I would love to see us go after a true FS (Xavier Woods maybe) and a veteran CB in FA.
  8. My hope (pipe dream) was that we could get a cheaper 1 year and get to pick between him and Anderson next year. Glad he got his money though. Too bad for him it with WFT. Ron misused him for years.
  9. They ARE almost at a Congress level debt now.
  10. They still might try to trade in front of us. Fitz only signed a 1 year deal, and would be a god mentor for a rookie QB that needs time to develop. Nice signing, the kind we should have done with TB.
  11. I like him too, BUT, the FA market is slam full of DE's. Shouldn't be hard for the team t replace him.
  12. Maybe these are the tier 2 guys that Rhule/Fitterer wanted. Why risk losing them to another team who's bargain bin shopping. I honestly had never heard of either guy an hour ago, so that's just a theory.
  13. If he's fully recovered from the MCL sprain he should be a step up from Scott, who's better than Daley, who's better than Little. I like that he and Scott can back up either side. I still fully expect to draft a LT.
  14. Thanks. I've been doing a little reading today, and it looks like Jordan may be a little less flashy as a pass-catcher that Freiermuth, but a better blocker. I like TE's who aren't afraid to smack someone in the mouth.
  15. Cross the tier 1 guys off our wish list and get cracking on our tier 2 guys before they get picked over. Nice strategy since we had so many roster holes to fill.
  16. Wow this deteriorated into another Mac Jones discussion quickly. Non -QB question, why do you like Jordan better than Pat Freiermuth?
  17. I always doubted the girls I dated too. Edit moved to the 3 dots in the upper-right corner.
