  1. mays is a back up at best was taking first team reps and had the opportunity to take the role until Corbett returned and he didn't step up as hoped
  2. if only watt didn't destroy cam's shoulder that game
  3. especially for guys that relies on their speed and running abilities
  4. the 2015 WR group is more comparable to this group Ginn : Chark Cotchery : Thielen Funchess : TMJ Philly : Shi
  5. last preseason game is usually for the players battling for the final few roster spots
  6. https://www.panthers.com/news/marquan-mccall-fits-right-in-along-this-defensive-line I though he "fits right in" ? this was posted 6 days ago lmaoo
  7. remember a season ago when we were trying our hardest to make the playoff with Sam Darnold and PJ walker along with a interim head coach but failed due to unlucky injuries and bad qb play. every one said we were a QB away from making the playoff with how the rest of the team is built. but now that we traded the farm for a franchise qb, we're back to "give it a few more season"?
  8. Exactly "Preseason", "Vanilla", "Not showing our cards" doesn't mean throwing Michael Jordan out there and getting your number overall QB murdered
  9. agreed, 4-3 vs 3-4 is pretty much irrelevant since nickel is 80% of defenses. stopping the run comes down to gap control, setting the edge, and making the tackle. some guys are just not playing physical enough and/or not doing their jobs
  10. Corral's been absolute cheeks but he's been dealt some of worst cards to begin his NFL career: -Drafted to start his career under Rhule who had no intentions or knowledge of developing rookie QB's -Playing behind the 4th string O-line during preseason and then getting injured for the entire season -Now, new coaching staff who has no ties to him -Bryce getting drafted and taking pretty much all the reps (although needed for BY) -Having once again playing behind a JV o-line his first NFL action back since injury
  11. Definitely see a lot of Drew Brees in BY's game. Quick decision throws, calmness, and pocket movement. What helped made Brees great was how good his interior O-Line was throughout his prime. Need to continue improving the O-Line if we want to see BY become what he is capable of.
