I didn't say it would get cured, I said sorted out. Stupid people are still out there doing whatever they want.

If they told everybody to stay home for a week, a lot of this could get sorted out. I stop at the grocery store on my way to work if I need anything, just to avoid people. Of course, my wife had 2 drs appts today.

They just said on the news that taking medicine designed to cure Ebola and another medicine (they didn't say what) knocked the symptons out in 24 hours. If true, at least people wouldn't die.

Let me reiterate- Italy acknowledged those deaths were due to COVID19, those people didn't all die today. Just like here, there are dead people that haven't been linked to the virus yet. Yet.

If schools are shut down, why couldn't cafeteria folk prepare food in boxes and bags, and let bus drivers run their routes at 11:00 instead of 7:00 and meet the kids at the bus stop, and give them the food? People could still work, and kids would get food.

My stepson works at a large factory in Wake Forest. He said 2 people showed up for work on his floor today. Cubicles that house 4 desks were limited to 1 person each. Can't sit with anyone at lunch. And the security badges they use were disabled and everyone has to come and go through one door.

Using average age of a country is inane. Countries with better health care and higher mortality rates will skew the numbers. The average age of Milan or Boston is going to be vastly different that the average age of a small village in Zaire.

I have enough food in my big freezer to last 2 months. The only canned goods I have are cans of soup and beans for chili. Gonna stop by the casa de liquor tomorrow. Just in case.
