He is a fiery leader and has a very quick release. The obvious negatives are size and the RPO offense. While I really like him, he would need a year on the bench if he came here. We don't have the line to protect him and he needs a year of NFL conditioning and learning the NFL game. But the kid has a ton of heart and he has the tools to succeed in the NFL.

I've watched the draft and studied on prospects for years. I'm no professional, obviously, but I do feel like I have a knack for identifying more successes than failures. So with that said, ignore this or don't, your choice. Honestly what was more concerning was how CMC absolutely torched him in the passing game. CMC got separation of 5 yards every time Simmons was supposed to cover him. For a guy that is already a safety/linebacker tweener, you should at least be able to cover. And he looked awful.
