    100% agree. Almost no talent on the roster. It's measured, long term rebuild time.

    Yeah we are going to be last in the South next year regardless of who the HC is. The ceiling will be to be score some points, maybe even 20+ here or there and win 3 or 4. Winning the division is laughable.

    Purdy is in the absolute ideal situation for any QB. Otherwise he's Bridgewater. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll see soon enough.

    Yeah and Purdy is limited. Lives on screens and quick outs that go for 40.

    Thing is, it doesn't matter who plays QB for us next season. We won't be competitive. 3, maybe 4 win ceiling. Our best QB by a long way for one more ride? Hell yeah I'm in.

    Just because you have a job as a GM or NFL personnel guy doesn't mean you're good at it. No surprise that there are plenty of geniuses in retrospect. Definitely a mistake, but one that 80%+ of these dudes would have made.

    Yes it looks like a whiff. I wish we could all agree to move on and talk about the staff and players that will actually be on the Panthers this fall. The Bears didn't get a re-do to take Mahomes or Allen instead of Trubisky. We'll never have Stroud. Move on

    2024 - bad football team with the right staff and a few players 2025 - OK team with an improving roster likely including a new QB 2026 - wild card maybe?

    It could be the start of a turnaround but 24 is 100% another lost season. The primary goal should be adding draft capital to 25 to go along with 1 overall.

    I've always found a way to be optimistic about next season. Until now. Our ceiling is 3-14.

    I agree with you but would note that there are 32 GMs that are all "professionals." Only about 5 or 6 of them are actually good at their jobs however.

    D Brown would have be All Pro on any of the other 31 teams. He's gone 100% 4 quarters every game while the franchise burns.
