  1. Yeah, I mean that is the million dollar question. I guess at the bare minimum we might actually be interesting to watch keep sucking versus insanely frustrating to watch suck like last year. IDK. What a fuging weird game. So much bad sprinkled with some big flashes of good.
  2. I am trying to be mad about this but we did storm back in a way that we don't normally ever do in the post-Cam era. I will put it this way, consider how dogshit we looked all game and still almost won it. So, I guess the question is are we going to still continue to be dogshit all season or are we gonna dial it in? If we lessen the mistakes and plug some obvious holes, we could actually be mediocre.
  3. You know....normally I would say that taking a kicker in the 4th is pretty dumb.....however.....
  4. I honestly have no idea why anyone thought this OL was going to be good. It was not set up for success.
  5. Panthers 27, Browns 24 Panthers jump out to an early lead but have to weather a Browns comeback in the second half and hold on. Panthers win TO battle. Mayfield sacked 5 times. Browns run for over 150 yards.
  6. I'm fired up. Especially my butthole, due to the mega spicy peach salsa I ate last night and just recently passed. If the Panthers can take even a little bit of this fire, we can win easily.
  7. I get the distinct feeling Elflein will be playing a lot more games at C than any of us want to see.
  8. 7-10. Obvious improvement on offense but the team starts hot and falls apart towards the second half of the year(again). Panther fans wait to see if Tepper triples down on Matt Rhule for 2023.
  9. There is a typical recovery time period though. Often don't start getting back to 100% for 9+ months. Just depends on OBJ's body and how dedicated he was to the rehab.
  10. This is excellent content. This is why we slog through GMC and guys jerking each other off ads.
  11. Is 6 wins progress? 7? What is your baseline for him keeping a job?
  12. Yeah, that could all come crashing down if this OL doesn't gel or perform well. It's a top 3 concern for me headed into the season.
  13. Eh.....I'm on the fence. You want a fiery, confident player(like vintage Cam or Jake) but you gotta be careful about putting up too much bulletin board material. I think I lean mostly "much ado about nothing."
  14. If it gets too out of hand, they will tell them to chill. They did that with the increased emphasis on OL holding during the COVID season. It was bad thr first few weeks and so the league said to chill TF out.
  15. Agreed. It was so fuging ridiculous. They already make it fuging hard enough to defend.
  16. Well they supposedly outlawed the pick/rub plays that were so popular. So perhaps this is the counter to that. It will be interesting to see how that shakes out this season.
  17. Yep. And under Rhule I really have no illusions about us being successful, so I am just an interested observer at this point. I'm not going to invest too much energy into getting mad about team failures when we are set up to fail.
  18. I really hope it wasn't that simple. Although apparently Phil Snow saying Darnold looks like Matt Stafford was enough to go after him. I think TMJ is injury prone and the fact that he cannot get separation at the NFL level is not gonna bode well for his future. He is supposedly a 4.4 sec guy but I haven't seen any indication of that kind of speed at all.
  19. Agreed. I suspect we see a similar track towards last year. Early success and then as attrition begins to happen the wheels quickly fall off. If Rhule doesn't get fired after that, I don't really know that I understand what Tepper is doing at all.
  20. I have no idea what the deal is with Marshall. If we don't see any real production out of him this season(similar to last year), I suspect we just move on in the offseason.
  21. I mean....we don't own the team. He owns the team. It's his franchise to do whatever he wishes with it. You wouldn't go to your local Amazon warehouse and demand they reorganize the shelves and apologize to you, right? I don't care about any apologies. I don't get to take the "I'm sorry" tokens and cash them in for NFL wins.
  22. The Amazon Prime series really hurt his reputation with the fans. But he did earn his reputation as being very immature.
