Another Thing that Bugged Me About Rhule (Miller>Scott)
kungfoodude replied to Castavar's topic in Carolina Panthers
Was literally at the game with my buddy questioning that. Gilmore is the shut down dude, just put him on TM and call it a day. -
I am not ready to say he is a bust but our young DL are not really developing well(Brown, Burns, YGM). Not super impressed with the staff's ability to maximize the potential of our young players in general.

The amount of dumb takes in this thread is hilarious.

People forget how good Cam looked in Preseason

Except you had issues being impartial about Darnold. -
Game 15 (11/18) Hurricanes (12-2-0) @ Ducks (10-4-3)
kungfoodude replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
Huge victory and amazing play yet again by Andersen. Next three opponents aren't nearly as tough. This may be a very fruitful WC tour. -
Plus by the time you have made it to the NFL, you have likely been exposed to elements of all of this for a decade or more. Everyone is gonna have an adjustment period but it isn't like taking The Golden Calf of Bristol and trying to make him a TE in Jacksonville. He had to learn EVERYTHING.

I mean, for all the vitriol thrown his way it was glaringly obvious that he was and is a genuinely good person.

Darnold is a very odd case because more people than normal(even in the media and football knowledgeable talking heads) seemed fooled by him. I really don't get why that happened because it SEEMED so obvious. But the narrative became that it was Gase and that was what everyone just seemed to go with. It was very strange.

At the end of the day(from the Darnold Doubt contingent) all of us wanted to be proven wrong because it makes the Panthers better. If he works out, we get a massive steal. But, the signs were obvious and, unfortunately, they proved to be what they appeared. It is what it is. I am elated to see Cam back and although I doubt he is our long term answer, it sure is nice to have him back in the building and back on the team. I think for the real Panthers fans, it was something we needed to see some closure with him. Even if last game was the peak, that was somehow enough for me.

According to the reports no. So, technically I am incorrect about that. My point still stands. The delivery is intentional.

She is intentionally misquoting to get "clout." She can get fuged as far as I am concerned. But, really so can any social media "reporter." She is a prime example of why journalism is dead. It's about rapid fire content, controversy and clicks. Not accuracy or perspective. That is why her and all the other clowns in the social media world can fuging blow me. I don't give a fug if that is what this poo evolved to be. If we eventually evolved to eat human fecal matter as a dessert, I wouldn't become a pastry chef.

This is really amazing that you are all letting this dumb troll, Sheena Quick, whip you into a frenzy over NOTHING. I mean literally NOTHING. If you showed this ignorant thread to Cam or Rhule, they'd likely roll their eyes or laugh. There is no dumb arbitrary line in the sand here. This is all gray. Calm the fug down. @rayzor Just lock this stupid poo.

"Don't do it again" is precisely the reaction any coach in the NFL would and should have. I am FAAAAAAAAR from a defender of Matt Rhule(feel free to rifle through my receipts on the Huddle) but he isn't wrong. Had Cam done that after the second TD, I imagine most of us would have been upset. I love celebrations, they get the fans excited, they get the players excited. I don't even agree that taking your helmet off during a TD celebration should be a penalty. Now that we have that out of the way.....everyone knows that is a penalty. Has been for a while. So....don't get pointless penalties. For Cam.....glad he got that one. He deserved that moment and the fans deserved that moment. It just doesn't need to happen again.

The whole leadership argument(for or against) is completely ridiculous. It didn't help "lead" a team any more than it showed poor leadership. At best, it got some of the players hyped up but they would have been hyped up had he took off his helmet or not. The act itself was ultimately selfish but I completed understand the need and want to do so. Had the Panthers done the same thing to me, I probably wouldn't be nearly as nice with my celebration.

It was an awesome moment for the fans to see Cam do that. It was also a really dumb thing to do from a football standpoint. Contrary to what people believe, both of these things can be true.
-
She did that intentionally. I would advise all to avoid her "coverage" of anything in the future. If your goal is to rise up on the misplaced outraged at the detriment of Cam, Rhule or the team.....you can fuging eat a whole bushel of dicks. fug her.
-
Also, Sheena Quick is basically a hack at this stage of her career. She is just editing to create controversy where none exists. Sooooo....pretty much she can go fug herself. She knows exactly what she is doing.
