  1. I am not cherry picking. Just choosing two random "all time greats" and comparing. I can do more statistical comparisons, if you prefer. My ultimate point is that Winston played in an offense that was the worst possible thing for him. Arians offense always produces QB TO's. It even did for Brady this year. In fact, look at all his stops and only Pittsburgh did he not have the team bottom 10 in QB turnovers(this year, as well). So, is he a gunslinger that will never truly take care of the ball? Probably. Is he much different than Brett Favre was? Statistically....no. The big difference between him and Favre right now is the length of career. I would have loved to have sign him to that sweetheart of a deal that New Orleans got him at. I'd take him on a short, cheap deal here if they won't.
  2. I mean, I guess any way you want to twist the narrative. The fact is that was an outlier season for all three QB's. Well.....except for Favre who actually had six 20+ INT seasons. Winston's 4.8% INT Percentage in 2019 would have actually been the third highest in Peyton Manning's career and tied for the second highest in Brett Favre's career. But again, I guess only Winston has had a terrible season in NFL history.
  3. I've worked for 29 different companies in roughly 14 years and there are about 20% of them that are loyal, mostly smaller companies. I have yet to work for a Fortune 500 company that has any loyalty whatsoever.
  4. Teddy Bruschi is also a dumb Pats homer. He slurps them so hard it's digusting. I am pretty sure Stafford just wants to avoid New England after having to deal with Matt Patricia's dumb ass for three years.
  5. Watson is an established elite NFL QB. Winston is an erratic gunslinger with elite attributes but fatal flaws. I would have no issue bringing in Winston on a 1 year deal but he isn't in the same class as Watson, at the moment.
  6. This seems to be about David Newton, right? You know what, actually fug this. This is why Twitter is for twats. What an unholy sewer of stupidity.
  7. I would have been in stitches laughing. Those arguments are almost always funny as poo.
  8. Pretty sure she is calling him a secret cumdumpster.
  9. And he may also like those opportunities to build. That's the thing, some people enjoy the path more than the destination. Here is a crazy thought, what if he jumps ship in 3-4 years after he builds a 12-14 win team? He is technically as high as he can go in the head coaching ranks....but maybe he finds the building process the most rewarding? This is all theory, of course. He still has to actually BUILD a winner here. But if that does happen, I am curious to see how he handles sustained success. Can he maintain it? Can he keep the kind of atmosphere he wants after he has been here for 4-6 years? To be determined(hopefully).
  10. We can trade Teddy post June first, it is just a matter of what kind of draft pick it may cost us. Could be a 1st-3rd rounder.
  11. One interesting thing to see is if he is able to sustain success. That is actually something he has never done as a head coach.
  12. It is worth it if it works out and in their case it did not work out at all. This has been building since about 2014/2015. They have not been able to capitalize on all this credit spending. Ya hate to see it.....
  13. I cannot believe they have skated as long as they have. The mess this is going to create will make Hurney 1.0's look like a crumb. But, in fairness, they maintained a hell of a competitive window. Absolutely dropped the ball on what should have been 1-2 titles.
  14. If they get out of this offseason without having to nuke the roster, the NFL salary cap isn't real.
  15. And they NEED to get rid of a lot of them this offseason already.
  16. God I hope he tries to come back. He was so clearly on the decline, even before his ribs got smashed. He'll play until the fans turn on him.
  17. That article is what a literate version of Badtakelegend would pen. Pretty terrible. He not only didn't watch us play, it didn't appear if he watched any football at all. Also acted if Anderson and Moore were basically bums.
  18. This will really cook your noodle. Within inches of that information.....that awfully worded Twat by that Twit.
  19. I would rather see them roll was Taysom The Golden Calf of Bristol. I was genuinely looking forward to that future disaster.
  20. Brett Favre had a 29 INT season. Peyton Manning had a 28 INT season.
  21. Yeah...but I thought it was BS then. I mean......if he is your starter....why didn't you play him when Brees went down???? Is this genius or madness?
